  • Heyy, This is a great video walkthrough .. setup.. blah thingie. Where do you get the Dual RCA Y-Cable 30.4cm at? Ive searched online and nothing comes up for it =(

  • @Legitt08 thankx and I purchase the cable from radio shack.

  • Should i buy the RCA with the stereo or the Red and white end?

  • My tv already has headphone plug so no need to get an adapter...check it out

  • Thanks. This completely answered the question I googled.

  • great video and easy to follow directions

  • I have a Samsung 5 series 32 inch LED UA32D5000PRMXL and I connected Intex IT - 1825 Beats 2.1 speakers.

The output of speakers is 3.5mm jack and I connected it to the headphone jack in TV.. When I change the channels, the sound suddenly goes off and comes back when I again change channels.. It is not a case of loose connection as the speaker lights doesn't go off.. Can I know if there is any other way of connecting the speakers to TV other than the 3.5mm Jack?

  • @valentinoviki This is something I havent heard of,I will have to look into it.It may be just how the speakers are.Have you tryed them on another tv to see if it operates right?

  • @zerosk8ter9 No haven't tried on any other TV.. Both the TV and speakers are brand new.. Do we come across compatibility issues ?

  • @zerosk8ter9 My problem is solved now.. My speakers has got remote..So My TV remote used to switch off the speakers when I change channels.. So i have placed the speakers away from TV now and its working great..

  • @valentinoviki glad it worked out =D

  • THANKS! How much was that male adapter?

  • @antraven01 I think it was around 4 dollars

  • What if you don't have "fixed audio" ouput? Then, which one do the RCA cables go in?

  • yea i got same issue

  • The bad thing about this is that the remote control no longer can adjust the volume. You have to get up and manually adjust the volume each time. I found out the hard way. :(

  • @Passions My remote still controls the volume on my tv...

  • Do your tv speakers turn off?

  • @deonb2331 no they still stay on

  • i see MODERN WARFARE 2 ANYWAY NICE ONE THANKS MATE

  • Ok sweet thankz

  • I about to buy a 6.3mm stereo adaptor the only things i have to plug in my pc speakers is the RCA cable and the stereo adaptor well soon but i am was hoping if u could tell me can u still here your speakers if the TV is in HD becaues i wana play my ps3 in HD throw my speakers is this the way to do it on this video..

  • @seang695 are you talking about using the hdmi cable with the ps3 connected to the tv? if so then yes you can hear them

  • @zerosk8ter9 No sorry lol, im just talking about becaues ive already got my PS3 in HD using the HDMI cable and i plug in the speaking using everything and i start to play music on my ps3 would the music come throw the speaker becaues i dont wont it to come throw the hdtv anymore.

  • @seang695 yea the music would come from the speakers and the tv's as well

  • @zerosk8ter9 oh ok thank you very much.

  • @zerosk8ter9 i have come across a 6.35mm Stereo Jack Socket to 3.5mm Stereo Jack Plug Adapter would that be easyer to use? becaues my stereo adaptor is to big to plug in.

  • WHATS THE MUSIC?

  • @assassingh10 My Friend made it on fruity loops

  • @zerosk8ter9 lol, you should advertise him a little. The music's really good.

  • what type of dual rca y cable is it

  • @deshaun638 I got them at radio shack

  • @deshaun638 How much did that RCA Y cable cost at Radio Shack?

  • @ShadowJ20 I think around 7$

  • and the black and orange?

  • ore just plugg the green wire to the side of your tv...

  • @HughStirling I believe there's a mute option for this

  • dude umm how do u plug that in if u have an HDMI cable pluged in already?

  • Can this work if your tv doesn't have an audio out output in the back of your tv? I only have 2 sets of composite cable outputs and 1 set of component cable outputs? It's a 27 in RCA tube tv.All I want to do is hook up my Logitech Z323 pc speakers to my tv so that the sound comes out of the pc speakers rather then the tv it's self (same goes for PS3 gaming)

  • As long as the tv has audio out it will work. I did this to a tv I have that is 10 years old. The connection doesn't matter. They selll any cable cheap on EBAY, 3.5mm to AV (red & white), 6.35mm to AV (red & white), male to female converter. Most computer speakers use the 3.5mm now.

  • and also(please respond anyone) if I have an older fatter tv, and i want to use this for the ps3 mainly, could I just plug the video AV/ cord into the tv and the L and R sound cords into the Dual y-cable? PLEASE RESPOND!!!!

  • will this not burn up the speakers?

  • this didn't help, i need a tv with a 3.5mm OUT port. =/

  • thanks bro

  • and where did you get the adapter from

  • @clidoss radioshack

  • does it have to say fixed audio out? or can it just be L and R red n white audio holes?

  • i have a 5.1 speakers and they have 3 wires, green, black and orange. how do i connect that to the tv?

  • @ABC2D2 just use the green one on the adapter

  • DAFT PUNK!!

  • hey dude thanks for this, really improve audio ALOT. btw, i use the logitech ls 21, which are the same price as the ones you have, also a good cheap option for people who cant afford home theaters

  • can anyone tell me a store where I can buy these please?

  • @RayDrox96 buy what?the speakers?

  • @zerosk8ter9

no the 6.3mm stero male adaptor

    and dual RCA cables

  • @zerosk8ter9 i have an ipod dock, could i use the same connections and make em work on my samsung series 3 tv? thanks....

  • @crps3ESA Im not sure...what kind of connectors does it have?does it have a headphone jack option? If so it might be possible

  • @zerosk8ter9 yeah , it has a 3.5mm in, and i got a 3.5 to 3.5 cable, thanks man,

  • What if we have the red jack on the back of the tv but not the white one?

  • @jozie2119 it would make an echo..which is just stupid...

  • hey, i was looking to do this yesterday, do you also have a black wire that comes from youre speakers? I have the green wire you plugged into the head jack...and also a black wire. If you can let me know what i need to do that that black wire. Thanks! And with it being fixed audio out...will i be able to adjust the volume with just my regular tv volume? I have a 42inch vizio. Thanks. if you can please email me at johnwiechel@gmail.com so ill be able to get youre reply back, thanks!

  • I just got an LG (32LD450) LCD HDTV for Christmas, and I'm trying to hook-up my Logitech S220 2.1 Speaker System to the TV, so I can hear all the gunfire and explosions from the Xbox 360, coming out of the Logitech sub-woofer!!!...

  • @SEGA128DC thats gonna sound pretty good HIgh quality

  • are you connecting the red and white male connectrs to the audio inserts things behind the tv? what kind of tv you got?

  • i don't have an AV out. now what?

  • song?

  • Comment removed

  • @Reedbullfyren just put your tv speakers on mute

  • @jozie2119 both

  • where can u buy these cables?

  • @TheBluesguitarman radio shack =)

  • @zerosk8ter9 you don't really need a 6.3 stereo adapter though. It'll do with a 3.5mm 1/8 stereo female mini jack to 2 male RCA adapter

  • my ones are audio things or whatever are red green and blue where should i connect them? !

  • hey ive got ligtech 5.1 and they use that green black and orange plugs, it came with an adapter to the audio red and white cable to plug into the av out of a tv, but my tv does not have av out it only has digital optical cable out at the back, do that have an adpter from the optical audio cable to the red and white cable or to the black green and orange ones?

  • why do you not just put in the green cable into the tv? nots that hard and u dont need to but that things? or wont it work
