im 10 and i have terrible migrains when i used to take medicine the first type my docter gave me was maxalt melts my parents used to hold my mouth shut so i wouldnt spit it out until i figured to put the pill under my tongue quickly sip water and swallow it and then later on my dad got me taking maxalt pills all in all take the maxalt pills and not the melts

omg i still do tht n im 13 hahaha like my dad got this wintergreen cough syrup when i asked him 4 pills but he said the cough syrup works better so i had to take it well he gave me a cup full and next second u know im spitting it all on the ground n not even half of it is gone so im sitting there crying and everything and i also had to take it b4 i could eat my lunch but i got to eat it b4 i guess but i never took it again medicine ppl just need to make it taste like water!!!

Slapping and hitting a kid isn't gonna make them take the medicine...there are ways to get them to take it without violence...I raised 2 kids and I know how.
