  • Man I loved this stuff! Watched it every weekend

  • The 90s owns all, plain and simple. Are you afraid of the dark rocked my world....and ACTION LEAGUE NOW!

  • i never grew up on this but i do miss the old shows like cat dog rugrats all that etc. but its a good thing theres a thing call 90s nick is all that on teen nick at 11 i was born in 2000 so i do remember cat dog and invader zim and those ones.

  • They should bring this back! PERMENANTLY!

  • ....I get this weird warm feeling from watching 90s tv and I'm a 98 born....

  • lol @90s hair!

  • Gosh when it came on, took me way back *Goosebumps* :)

  • Since I am afraid of heights, I wouldn't like the sight of almost falling down in that skyline.

  • So when will disney chime in and bring back the old stuff? It seems the past really beats the present

  • Oh god the memories this brings back. Snick, Donkey Kong Country, sleepovers on Saturday Night. God, I miss being a kid in the 90's....

  • thumbs up if u got the n64 the first month it came out back in 96!!!!!

  • Is it bad that I always put this every Saturday night?

  • @franciscojavierm Nope, You're keeping the memories alive! Keep at it! :-)

  • @Yesterdays92 Those are some neat memories man... it was the best time to be a kid in history!

  • ohh I miss that orange couch....aww...lots of good memories.

  • ahhhh isnt the 90s great?

  • Nick was running the buisness back then

  • I truly feel sorry for kids that didn't get to grow up during this era of nickelodeon AND cartoon network. Both were essential to my happy childhood

  • This reminds me of those nights when the cousins were over, we used to play in the backyard, usually hide and seek. I don't know about previous generations, but in the 90s, it was almost ritual. Of course Snick made it all the more memorable.

  • I remember that damn couch! Always wanted that thing

  • I'm now Snicking at 27 years old!

  • I fuckin miss Snick soooooooooooo much!!!!

  • Holy crap, I'm 12 again... O.O

  • THANK GOD, AND TEENNICK, that they are bringing some of the 90s TV shows back this July 25 (tomorrow) @ 12:00 AM !!!!

  • Everyone watch The 90s are all That block

And spread the word about a protest in October

  • THE 90S ARE COMING BACK ON TEENNICK STARTING JULY 25 WEEK NIGHTS AN WEEKENDS

  • I remember being a kid and just waiting alll week for snick. I miss it. I miss being a kid. Things were so much simpler then.

  • i was 9 years old at this time in 95. i wish i had a time machine to go back and watch snick

  • Except for eazy e and Selena 1995 was a good year.

  • why does this generation of kids have to suffer from the bullshit they are showing now on t.v like wtf is big time rush and all that other bullshit they are showing more sitcom shows on nick than cartoons wtf is up with that..if it was up to me and i nick really smartened up they will show nothing but classics from now on

  • i miss the old nickelodeon i remember it like yesterday on saturday mornings eating cereal with my bro watching nick and at night watching snick...the good ol' days i would of never thought while watching nick when i was young that in the future i will be on the INTERNET reminiscing about my childhood i think MAJORITY of TECHNOLOGY is useless but thank god for YOUTUBE

  • Did anyone else ever think that 'Snicking' sounded like some kind of dirty sex act? Maybe that was just my immature mind at work :\.

  • Snick was much better than "TeenNick"

  • I was 11 in 1995 and snick was my life

  • my god i feel old

  • THE ORANGE COUCH!!! I swear, in my apt, I'm going to have an orange couch with a giant ear of corn lounge pillow

  • @buttaman1924, I agree! The kid's shows today cannot compare to the stuff we used to get back in the day!!! Fan Boy and Chum Chum can go suck it.

  • This is probably one of the only videos that puts a smile on my face when I'm feeling down. If you grew up watching SNICK, you know that everytime this intro comes up, happiness is guaranteed.

  • @TheKiddWithThePlan So Very True... What you said sums it all up....... I soooo miss the '90s and SNICK

  • @TheKiddWithThePlan Yes! That is the truth! This is nothing but pure goodness from the 90's that almost puts you in that special kind of mood and makes you feel like a kid again and makes you remember how laid back life truly is

  • a quote from Ren- "MEEEEEMORIEEEES" LOL

  • What does snick mean?

  • @twostupidforks Saturday Night Nickelodeon

  • @Yesterdays92 Oh thanks

  • @Yesterdays92 if you watch the 90's are all that on 12:00 am to 4:00 am on teenick in some shot the still have the couch

  • Ah I'm 30yrs old I watch OUR EVER SINGLE SHOW OF NICK AND SNICK. I can't believe I forgot bout this our shows was so good today compare to todays P.O.S.

  • does anybody know what i would have to type to look for when they would have that guy walk in to get a haircut and the razor would go on then something else like the door opening would play and at the end it would just be alot of noises but it would sound good. its hard to explain but someone has to know what im talking about i think this was around 95-97

  • I AM SITTING ON THAT COUCH RIGHT NOW!!!

  • @Setsunna Dude I want that couch lol

  • @bridgmon007 LOL

  • I wish I could've seen the Snick block all those years ago, when I was little/younger. I was never fortunate enough to be allowed to see this due to the cable station or network always switching to A&E when 8:00 p. m. rolled around in my area, for some jacked reason. My parents probably would've had to pay to get that and Nick at Nite, as in the case of the Disney channel, when it was scrambled for me most of the time.

  • do they even have snick anymore?

  • Comment removed

  • snick its snick for god sake ufuck

  • fuck u and ur sigh language

  • Does anyone remember the intro with the lightning storm or something? I think maybe a lightning bolt came in and went to the tv and zapped it turning it on to the Snick logo

  • what I use to do on the weekends when I was like 11 or 12 before I started going out and partying

  • @mryjn420090 Yeah, that was a fun age to be.

  • @mryjn420090 Thats exactly what I was thinking!!!

  • I'm 22 years old and I want to old nick and snick

  • Those were the days when kid shows were great

  • The brief run of Avatar was the only show that got me watching Nickelodeon again since Spongebob infected the channel.

  • Hey it was on at 8 pm if you lived on the west coast, which meant you got to stay up later.

Also if you are twenty years old you wouldn't remember original SNICK, you would have been 2 years old.

  • That couch!

  • lol, i love how 'Are you afraid of the Dark?' was always the badass show that always ended Snick.

  • Does anyone agree that the kid at 0:04-05 looks like one of the Olsen twins?

  • some old nick shows r on nick toons network

  • this is the first snick opening i saw i think

  • Snick...... How I missed you......... let me count the ways......... 1.Salute your shorts 2.Doug 3.Hey Dude 4.Rugrats 5.Rocko's Modern Life 6.The Offbeats 7.All That 8.Clarissa Explains it all 9.Pete and Pete 10. Are you Afraid of the Dark 11. Alex Mac
  • i used to get so stoked when SNICK would come on. i felt like i was getting some sort of VIP Nickelodeon access.

  • this was like the toonami of cartoon network but on nickelodeon

  • dam i didn't nick had so many things snick the n teen nick block too!!

  • oh shit the big orange couch!!!! how could i forget you...

  • I officially feel old. Thank you!

  • man i really miss back n the day shows im 20 years old n i will still watch all the old show i hate hate hate icarly fat boy n chum chum n all the rest of the BS they show

  • @buttaman1924 Yes, So Do I !!! I can't believe how much time has gone by, It sure shows that you shouldn't take anything for granted, even t.v. shows! SNICK was great times, great memories! I hate that good things unfortunately come to an end, like SNICK. I still remember playing Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and Street Figher 2 and Donkey Kong Country all night with snacks after SNICK was over! Great Times!

  • @Yesterdays92 haha holy shit i did the same thing! I would have my best friend come over or i go to his house and stay the night on Saturdays. we would watch snick then stay up all night playing sega/super nintendo!!! good old days i miss them ; ; i'll be 27 in 6 days.... may time goes by fast >.<

  • @buttaman1924 hell yea nick nowadays sucks major cock wish all the stars of new nick would drop dead and ps its more like fag boy and cum cum lmao

  • Why is there an error regarding comments?

  • ugh i only got to see all these kind of shows when i was like in 2nd grade or something! Most of the jokes flew over my head.

I can remember a lot of it, but i still wish they played these shows nowadays

  • you know i wonder if ppl thought our nick was lame and dumb like you know the 70s and early 80s kids and if they thought hey this isnt our nick idk always made me wonder, and once this era of nick is done and they come up with a whole slue of newer dumber crap then if the kids watching icarly back at the barnyard fanboy and chum chum and all the others will b saying the same thing and to be honest that scares the shit out of me haha

  • 90's were the best...my favorite shows were guts and rocko's modern life.

  • Man a majority of the shows Nick show now a days are all about teens! They totally cut out the childhood factor. It's like they want kids to grow up faster instead of enjoying their childhood.

  • Television was more creative and more unique back then. Now it is just stale and lousy. We need a CHANGE and we need it NOW!!

  • @29ddboy I totally agree, but it'll never happen. The company that owns Nick is only interested in quick profits..... So nostalgia is out! They very well could have another cable channel running classic SNICK. But they are NOT interested. I'm so very glad I recorded lots of SNICK shows when they were new. I transfered them to DVD and iTunes... I'll always have some SNICK to enjoy.

  • @Yesterdays92 Your lucky, but I still think there is a possibility the MTV Networks will give in and create an network for us that offers all of the Nickelodeon's past programs. You just have to believe!

  • @Yesterdays92 that is the smartest thing ever having dvds of old snick you are a smart human being

  • @gannon1op Thank You, I recently put all of them in my iTunes library, and I can enjoy them in iTunes and on my iPhone! Happy Happy Joy Joy! :-)

  • @Yesterdays92 I concur. SNICK was a juggernaut for NICK. It was the weekend bread and butter for Nick. Nick today is subpar compared to what it used to be. Nick used to be known as the first network for kids. I remember shows such as Salute Your Shorts, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, My Brother and Me, Wild and Crazy Kids, GUTS, What Would U Do, Nick Arcade and many more. If you were born in the 1980s, then you were probably born in the last of the great generations.

  • @Ty2k83 i 2nd that emotion

  • @Yesterdays92 So make a new Nickelodeon...

Nickelodeon started out as a local channel called pinwheel.

  • @29ddboy This is kind of unrelated, but I hope someday time travel exists so that I can go and visit all of my favorite time periods. I think its possible but the equitment for it does not exist yet!

  • @Pugslee3 That will be very interesting.

  • I remember going to my cousins' every Saturday doing other fun kids stuff and then at night watch SNICK. Good times.

  • Oh how I wanted to be one of those cool older kids sitting on that couch.

  • '95-'98 were probably my prime Snick-watching years. Then they started showing crap like Cousin Skeeter and Allen Strange.

  • YAHZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!

  • Snick was the best!

  • Snick didn't have to die, its not too late to bring it back with all the same old 90 shows!!!!!!!!!

  • i rember EVERYTHING in the 90's snick

i was just a little girl when these shows came out :)

  • Snick in the 1990s was awesome. Especially if you were an 80s baby. Back when SNICK was a slumber party staple. Aaahhh!!!! THe good old days.

  • @Ty2k83 haha totally agree!

  • @Ty2k83 Yeah, I always though it was more of an 80's baby thing. I'm surprised kids born in 90's even remember Snick.

  • I WANNA SNICK AGAIN!!!

  • Make me think of the time when you could play outside at night being little kid.

  • especially if you had those shoes that lit up, ah memories

  • I don't get why people call SpongeBob a 90s show. Its a great show (or it WAS a great show) but it premiered in 99. It didn't even really catch its stride as a big show until 00-01. Just because its a great show that happened to premiere in 99, doesn't mean its a part of the era that is the 1990s.

  • yeah i know. I remember all of those shows too!!!!!!!!!!!

  • if you consider spongebob a 90s show you are def not a 90s kid... if you can remember shows like pete and pete, salute your shorts, hey dude, slime time, double dare, wild and crazy kids, the origional cast of all that... etc... then you can call yourself a true 90s kid!

  • dont forget Are You Afraid of the Dark?

  • That was back in the great golden age of television :D. I still remember those even though i was little

  • Very true, I loved the shows Kenan and Kel, Are you afraid of the dark, Guts, Space Cases and many more.

  • @WRTProductionz i liked every single show EXCEPT pete and pete... that show was so fuckin boring to me lol

  • @WRTProductionz I used to watch these shows all the time when nick was good now I have to watch the new crappy shows with my daughter and think about back in the day when these were on.

  • Comment removed

  • @WRTProductionz I'm so glad I remember all of that and I was born '92. Thank the heavens for my older siblings.

  • man, i remember this like it was yesterday... you all know you wanted to sit on the orange couch... lol

  • I remember me and my friends just wishing we could sit on the couch! haha!

  • Does anyone know the show on nick with a cast who had a moving chair and it was a sequence of skits on a stage? The cast really centered around a self moving chair with a tv on it and like it had all these different things the chair could do, btw its live action skits.

  • That was Roundhouse! :-)

  • I heard they gave away the orange couch and it was

    full of money. August 15, 1992 August 28, 2004

    stuffed with $25,000.

but i think those were just random kids like in TLR on

    MTV

  • You mean TRL on MTV not TLR!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!

  • I thought TLR was totally request Live ?

    so it's TRL ?

  • yeah you said TLR was totally request live thats TLR no TRL lol!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • You may be thinking of the show All That?

  • SNICK stop being good after 2001.

  • SNICK died in 2002, and was replaced by shitty teenick

  • I said it stop being good in 2001 not that it died.

  • no i know, that's why it died a year later

  • @therunningman09 I think Snick as WE knew it died long before 2002. :( I watched the first Snick when i was a kid...

  • it died in 2003 or 2004

  • WOW! I mean does this bring back some awesome memories

  • spongebob came out it in 99. it's hardly considered a 90's show.

  • Man every saturday!!!

  • Hahaha I got goosebumps watching this, haven't thought about SNICK in so long.

The best thing in the world was watching SNICK and staying up way late until like 11 playing SNES. :p

  • haha! yeah spongebob seriously needs to end.agree?

  • Agreed

  • I AGREEEE!!!!

  • Amen to that! I just hope that after they show the episode revealing all the secrets, it will. Rocko's Modern Life to replace it ftw!

  • you know how they got tv land they need a channel for all the old kids shows. not just nick, cartoon network, the wb, etc. i miss shows like two stupid dogs, and all that.

  • they allready have that, it's noggin, i think it's called The N now

  • Fuck the new nick bring back the old nick!

  • yeah i like icarly but old nick had better and alot more shows than they do now.

  • they shud bring back SNICK i miss it.why did nick get rid of their awesome classic shows? now all they play is re-runs of icarly and spongebob.they should do a voting poll on their website to see if SNICK ,old nicktoons, and the slime shows should comeback.seriously nick need to care about their viewers IM SICK OF SPONGEBOB!!

  • NIck isn't a channel for kids anymore. The cartoons are horrible and the live action shows are only there to help push crappy merchandise based on the show or even worse CDs if the show is music based. Nicks ratings haven't been the same since they've turned against their true audience.

  • True!!! 'Nuff Said!

  • i certainly miss the '90s :-(

  • It's so amazing how many really good shows there were back than.

Today, there are some good shows, but not as much as the ones from the 90's.

  • All they play is new garbage now, Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite are gone!

  • i think nick at nite is an improvement but i do miss the old nick and snick.

  • Kids dressed so cool Like the John Conner kid in Terminator 2. Man they wore like there hair real long and right in there face. and no one called em emo or nothing, Man i was born in 95, But hell i remebr all this. Great years. Best times ever

  • i loved SNICK!!!

i wonder if i could buy a big orange couch like that somewhere. hah

  • i miss the golden days of nickelodeon. now its all shit.

  • *Sigh* I miss Snick

Now Nickelodeon is now Crapelodeon with all their stupid shows and cancel SNICK, those tratiors!!!

  • I love how it's like "there's nowhere else you should be!" and then some kids chase down a fucking couch outside. Hell yes.

  • i miss the 90's

  • Remember when they did the Halloween thing every year?Like "Snick or Treat" Or "Nick or Treat" like they called you up and put your on air... for some reason it reminds me of the Paperboy video game...anyone wanna clarify that for me? :)

  • SNICK! I effin loved it when I was a kid. Are You Afraid of the Dark PWND. *sigh*

  • SNICK > Teen Nick (Which ironically shows programs for children) Goddamn iCarly.

  • This was my favorite part when I was a kid.

  • i forgot all about Snick until i saw this add, good memories for me

  • *sigh* the memories

  • SNICK came on @ 8:00

  • The schedules on Nickelodeon were for the Eastern and Pacific Time Zones (although they did mention when something would be on in the Central Time Zone).

  • This has my all-time favorite Snick music cue! Thanks for posting!

  • I have all of a sudden feel old...

  • Me too

    I'm 20

  • love this intro better than the other ones

  • damn I remember that couch....I wanted it back then. Still do

  • gotta agree with fxq520

  • Snick was so cool now were stuck with crap

  • They should put SNICK as a network the should call it "SNICK Classics"

  • Before this popped up there was no way to find it. Thank you so much! This was the best intro of all of them.

This was used in 1994 as well as 95.

  • You're Welcome!! :-)

Glad to know I'm not the only one who misses SNICK!

Yes, you're right! This intro was used for SNICK's 1994-'95 Season.
