I tried playing the remake of this game and to be quite honest, it sucked something hard compared to this. Hell, the original arcade version was better than the Reshelled version, they just changed far too much - took away all the classic music, dropped stages, changed around things, pumped up the difficulty to nine-thousand in some spots...this was the real version of the game deserving of the title "Best Beat'em Up Game Ever" (which it's gotten a number of times).

its basing on the classic arcade game... the game in this video is the ported snes version, the snes could only two turtles be played at a time so they added the technodrome level and bebop and rocksteady...

music copyright belongs (unfortunately) still to nintendo...

Nonetheless, you are completely right this version is one of the best fighting games of all time!

Flying kick takes too long to kill most foes. The body slams gives you 2 pts per kill and if you time it well every scene, you'll shave off a second from your fight every time. I did this on 21:00 even. It's doable. When you know exactly when the foe comes on the screen, you can start your body slam prematurely and kill enemies before they even come on your screen.
