This is the greatest sporting achievement of all time!!! You can come from 2 sets down to win, you can come from 3-0 down in a football match to win on penalties, or win a test match from a seemingly impossible position. You can win 9-0 in the Premier League against relegation opposition or make a 147 when the balls are there to be taken but to apply this amount of skill and to be 100% accurate under pressure....twice....is truly phenomenal.

@grahamcoo 147 is harder. ronnie could practice nothing but darts everday for a month and get atleast one 9darter. phil could practice snooker for years and NEVER get a 147. snooker is the hardest game in the world.

Therefore based on the amount of times both feats have been achieved, the three dart finish is harder, never mind two in one game.

@TheLwebber69 snooker I agree is (like golf) the hardest game to properly master, a 9 dart finish tho is immense, I don't agree that someone practicing for a month at darts that they would get a 9 darter, I represented Yorkshire at darts as a youth and played CONSTANTLY for years, even taking a dart board to school, practicing against a tree at break times to get as much in as I could. Best I ever had was 11 darts, never back to back 180's, my 11 darter was 3 x 140 and 1 x 81 by way of T15 D18.
