Mid-2008, during a House Financial Services Committee hearing, Mr. Barnacke admitted that the Federal Reserve is the largest taxer of the American Republic due to the "Inflation Tax" of the printing of fiat dollars.
Our economy faces enormous difficulties and one of the biggest culprits is the inflation tax for which the (privately owned) Federal Reserve is largely responsible.
It is time we audit the Fed - Cosponsor HR 1207 and be a real leader in South Carolina by being the first one!
