You can hear on the engine that its not 2.1 bar for sure. No blow of sound or anything like that, and with 2.1 bar this car would have accelerated way faster.
thanx for your reply buddy :) As I said the turbo doesn't really 'kick in' that much....I felt the diference when I drive tested another S4 (also stock) I could really feel the turbo kick....but unfortunately that one had serious ABS problems or something serious, when u press the brake pedal the engine would stall at any speed....which can be dangerous at high speeds!!!

1500? wrong; the old 5 cylinder is heavier than a modern Audi V8; and with 4wd and no light parts - heavy car - 1730kg minimum and the Avant heavier again - good torque and go for such a big old bus

tja. der audi isn sehr schönes auto, hab mal nen 80er besessen. aber für nen sportwagen ist er zu groß. mein astra coupe turbo schafft es mit 285 PS schon knapp unter die 6 sec

Yeah, i know that I have more power with 1.5 bar boost :D but not sure yet, planning to make a dyno test and see for my self the results :) actually, with the boost of 1.5 i believe the turbot should be upgraded into a k26 (or a hybrid of 27).

no, its not... 1 bar is atmosferic or what they call it, so it is only 1,1 bar in real life. Dunno why they show 2,1 bar when it only charges 1,1 bar.

This is stock, take 2.1 - 1bar for the actuall boost pressure. If it was charging 2.1 it would be moving ALOT quicker :)

Its normally by this pressure.
Stock 0,7bar@1950rpm, our's did 1,2bar@2900rpm and 1,5bar should came aroun d 3,5 -4k upm.
Its because the turbo needs more time to get this pressure, but at 4k he's kicking asses, didn't it?

You can't say this in general!
Our S6 20V sedan weight's 1745kg without driver.
Maybe you get an Avant(V8) wich is full, it could weight 1900kg.
By the way, it isn't original, it is chipped, stock is 0,7Bar(BC says 1,7), this one shows us 1,0/1,1Bar, it has mostly 260Hp ;-)

Quattros are much heavier, the 20VT an the larger Body does the rest.
My FWD C4 V6 weighs 1440kg's empty, my B4 V6 quattro weighs about 1550kg.Both cars are avants with ABC engine

Yep, FWD, sadly... But I'm happy to have the NG-engine, it's one of the most durable and reliable 5-cylinders, besides that it sounds damn good. =)
B4 Quattros with 5-cylinder engine in good condition are already pretty expensive. I think they will become classic cars one day...
Your B4 V6 Quattro weights 1.55 tons? That's heavy. The Quattro model of the B4 2.3E (With NG-engine) weights only (As far as I know...) 1350Kg.

The best part of my 93 s4 besides the 20v is the weight distribution is 51/49. So with proper power you're out handling porshes.

Stock boost pressure is 0.8-0.9 BAR while overboost is at 1.1-1.2 BAR :) Well, actually, mines shows ~1bar boost and 1.5 bar overboost.

No, stock(230hp) boost is round about 0,7Bar and there is no real "overboost".
1.1 to 1.2 Bar shows our, wich is tuned to 286hp ;-)
1.5Bar shows the 303hp MTM version, wich is the maximum for the Turbocharger.
This pressure is not real durable, when you using the original K24-7000 ;-)

1,8bar means 1 bar air+0,8 bar turbo and yes, it is the stock pressure.
Deppending on the air temperatur and other things, 0,6-0,8bar is normal ;-)
The K24-7000's max boost is 1,5bar(2,5bar with air pressure), but it can't do more then 150tkm in this state(303-315hp MTM).
If your car isn't fast as this, then something couldn't be correct, or it's your own feeling and your's is faster ;-)

There is NO chip in this movie, but i installed a REVO chip a couple of monts ago.. it now charge 1,5 bar and does 0-100 in 4,8 sec
