There's one thing I've got to stress though. Get a new amplifier ;) This one is pretty shabby and makes you sound worse then you really are! So try to save up some cash and treat yourself to a real tube amp!
Thanks :) I've played on and off for about 13 years in all, but only really started playing properly (i.e. learning scales instead of just playing transcribed stuff) about a year ago.
I agree on the amp, I need a whole new recording setup really - what I have is pretty limited and it ruins the quality of the audio.
Not bad, not bad at all.
How long have you been playing?

Ah, hehe.
Learning scales > Tabs, definitely.
The recording process is always harsh on the tone unless you get a good mic ;)
But, I know that amp. It's a Marshall MG, correct? No offense. But it's quite the POS, no match for your guitars at all.
If you tell me your budget I'd be happy to help you out with finding a good amp for your money. Just drop me a line whenever!

Yeah it's an MG, I got it a few years ago just as a practice amp - i'll drop you a message shortly, thanks for the offer :)
