  • classic 80's Oberheim DMX drum machine

  • The old version is better ( here we go)

  • @FBMorse

This is the older version, "Here We Go" was like a remix that came out later.

  • @nilhav Really? That version sounds lower quality, and just over all older.

  • @FBMorse

Hollis Crew was on the album, it came out really early like with Sucker Mc's. "Here We Go" may have come out before King of Rock, but it sounds like that because it was live

  • Dang!!! this is kicking back in the day :)

  • *Hollis

  • I love this picture with JMJ looking to the side like he is watching out for the crew like he did in real life. RIP Jam Master you are missed

  • yo its curtdog11412 check da zip 11412 hollis ave repazent 37 now raomed hollis in 86 kalamate' mutha f_ckaz! what up twin dog boo both of u and big shawn divine mc i lived on 205 and 110 two fifth street rockin adogs and pumas its 86 yall repazent we used too shake his hand and never let go holla yall hip hop 4 eva peace

  • Classic Hip Hop! Thanx 4 posting!

  • RUN-DMC single handed, and officially put "old school" rap in the grave and obituary. Old school rappers were on that "yes, yes, y'all, to the beat y'all" style. But when they came out, everybody, I mean everybody were saying "yo, did hear about them rappers from Queens, RUN-DMC?". Going to John F. Kennedy H.S. in the Bronx in the early 80's, the cats were blasting this song on the # 1 train and did not care about Transit Police - that's how much imaginary power this song and RUN-DMC gave us.

  • R.I.P Jam Master Jay (1965-2002)

  • we used to blast this ish hard back in 83-84. crazy great ol' memories!

  • True and wow that's a cool pictiure of them and darn good raw tune.I'm def. Jammin it.

  • kings thts all i can say

  • Hollis not Holis.

  • the right wanne looks like denzel washington

  • @beekybart Denzel wasn't even in the picture then.

  • DMC spit this Line-Getter of Girls, Master of Men, King of rock and I am Him..My friends analyze Rap lyrics and still to this day we can't figure this guys Vocabulary his lyrics are just sick way ahead of his time...DMC is the Best rapper of the group Run had more mainstream appeal..he rip it on Rock Box..

  • ALL GOOD

  • It's the same of Run DMC - sucker m'c

  • This guys are the best, hip hop don´t stop in Brazil...

  • run dmc are best ever.

  • noo

  • been a fan since they came out

i remember wakin up early in the morning

to get their self titled album the first day

    it hit the record store.

    R.I.P. JAM MASTER

  • the drums are also harder in Hollis crew.Jay was skratching the intro of Sucker Mcs in Hollis crew as well, the bass and snare drums are NOT the same-listen more carefully.

  • probably run dmc's hardest beat ever recorded next to "here we go" play this on a killer sound system-even harder than "Jam Master Jay"

real hard core hip hop just turntables and drums -no faggot keyboards or any otherinstruments just stripped down raw.

  • the drums are the same in sucker mcs....

its based on the old song Action by Orange Krush and Treacherous 3 who remade it

  • the pattern is not exactly the same,VERY similar but slower,I used to think so too but listen closely, it is NOT the same. Get both 12 inches,"Hollis Crew " and "Sucker MCs". Beatmatch them and you will hear the difference. There is also a longer delay in the reverb in Hollis Crew. See for yourself.

  • listen to the bass patterrns moe carefully

  • Yeah you are right. Its slower. When Run comes in for the last verse its sounds the same. JMJ/Sucker MCs and Hollis Crew beside that Billy Squire Big Beat on Here We Go are the hardest ones out there...

  • "The things I do make me a star

you could be too if you know who you are

just put your mind to it, you'll go real far

like the pedal to the metal when you're driving a car" RIP JAY

  • i cant decide if i pefer the beat on this or sucker mcs
