Ehhh I would have liked it to be more true to the original. If you were having trouble getting all the voices in (actually making it a canon) then I suggest using the drums as extra voices (meaning you can get 6 voices out of the regular DS mode!)

But it sounds very.. out of key, starting on PIN9.

Nice one - did you use any of the drum tracks as 'synth tracks'? because you can... the sounds are just rendered as samples and cannot be edited after you design them -- so really you could have a full 6 track version of this song (without the drums). Try it - it's great!

It appears that each button represents a measure or two of prewritten music (that he probably made). It looks like he's going through and queuing the next one measure up each time. I'm not sure what the buttons on the bottom do... they might enable/disable instruments.

bottom buttons are just mixer settings. he used them to solo the main instrument for the first few measures.

ps: idk if Im just to used to hearing that song in a different key or something but it seems to me the the lead instrument is out of tune or more likely just hiting the wrong notes. idk just didnt sound right at the end part. Im not trying to be a tough critic or anything. I think this stuff's awsome man.

DS-10 is hard to input any melodies. it has no linear time line for melody. all tracks are separated segments as patterns.

I think if you hook up the headphone jack of the DS into an external audio input, then hook that up to a mixer, computer, etc....you can get the song.
