Good indepth review. I know this is an old video but i always enjoy KWings reviews of 'retro' games. I don't think modern day games have the same 'greatness' of the games made in the late 80's and 90's.

Believe it or not but this game almost turned me gay or atleast off of girls. I was at the age (about 11 or 12) when i was starting to get into girls but i wasn't too sure and i found that i was having trouble impressing the girls in the game to make them want to see me.

Hmmm idk this was my Winter game of choice back when i was a kid. In the summer I would go out and play. Although in the summer when I was teenager, my games of choice were long RPG's because I had plenty of time to enjoy it.

Harvest Moon: Magical Melody for the Gamecube (or Wii in Europe) is my personal favorite. Why? because it was the first I played and I immediately got hooked. It's alot like this game too, what with all the villagers and the town (not so much the story). It improved and capitalized on many features of the earlier games and always had an upbeat tone for the most part. Also I love the mini game feature.

the rating was a little high if it was a 8 or higher you could play longer then the 3 year time line in game time i would say it was about a 7 there is just way to much to do then just to be the 3 year time line in game time of course

Well Rune factory on the DS is 2D and Wii its 3D. It takes all the joys of past Harvest Moon games but removes the things people didn't enjoy from Wonderful life. Which oddly enough is one of Kwife's favorite games. We have been working on this Episode since last March.
