During the prophet's time, the non-muslims were obsessed with the notion of killing and oppressing the muslims. 2:99 is Common sense. If the non-muslims do not believe in the Quran, then it is entirely up to Allah to deal with them accordingly. It is common to find verses like this in most religious books. Surah Al fatiha, first chapter of the Quran was taught as a prayer to all muslims by Allah and the answer to that Surah which is the prayer is the rest of the Quran. First of all which non-muslims r u referring to? In islamic terms the idolators are different than those who are from the people of the book. Islam has never been a religion of worshipping idols. They are of course in metaphoric terms unclean to us. Second of all, a mosque is to be kept clean with no idols or any kind of idolatory whatsoever. At the time of the prophet, idolators were worshipping idols at the mosque and this is to show that islam has strict, zero tolerance on idol worshipping.

2:99 is Common sense. If the non-muslims do not believe in the Quran, then it is entirely up to Allah to deal with them accordingly. It is common to find verses like this in most religious books. Surah Al fatiha, first chapter of the Quran was taught as a prayer to all muslims by Allah and the answer to that Surah which is the prayer is the rest of the Quran. For example, a verse in the surah is being translated as "..Thee (alone) we worship; Thee alone we ask for help.Show us the straight path..."(1:5-6). And then the rest of the Quran is placed after that as if Allah is showing His guidance in there. It is a surah for those who sincerely asks for guidance which only Allah can grant him

The first chapter has been the words of Allah to teach the people how to pray and praise Him. Without these words, there would be NO Al fatiha and people wouldnt be able to know the proper way of how to ask him for guidance. That is why it is compulsory upon every muslim to learn the meaning of Surah Al Fatiha in order to learn this prayer and its importance!!

First of all, I asked u islamic haters to quote SPECIFICALLY from the Quran and NOT from hadiths. Second of all these reports from the hadiths are not even authentic. Tabari even made a disclaimer in his book, saying that he only compiled both authentic and unauthentic sources for the scholars of hadith to approve or reject, depending on the chain of transmitters. Still no Quranic quotes. Anyone else up to the challenge?

And w/out knowing what it once she aked for a copy of the "music" she heard. I asked her why? She told me b/c in her dying state, the sound of the "music" was the only thing that made her help relaxed and peaceful. I give her a copy of the tape and told her that what she thought was music was the words of the Quran.
