One verse says "bring my enemies before me and slay them" you thought this was Jesus speaking, so Christianity must be violent. But it was not Jesus saying these words, it was the nobleman of the story. If you read more of Luke you will see that it is just a story. Luke 19:11-12

It is so backward now with women wearing black sacks everywhere. look at the world, the countries with the lowest birth rates live in relative comfort, where Islam is the predominant religion, you get constant fighting between tribes and sects, people live in poverty, child mortality rates are high due to lack of food, disease and parental education.

Most of the verses to do with warfare are due to the circumstances in Arabia at that time.
So it is equally wrong to take those verses and use them as justification for Jihad against unbelievers.
If everyone realised that then Islam would truly be a religion of peace.

One verse says "bring my enemies before me and slay them" you thought this was Jesus speaking, so Christianity must be violent. But it was not Jesus saying these words, it was the nobleman of the story. If you read more of Luke you will see that it is just a story. Luke 19:11-12
