  • Could see some pretty heavy duty snipe on the end of the board. Make sure you're supporting the board on the outfeed side earlier than you did here.

  • can we buy the dust collector directly from dewalt?

  • Am I the only one that gets snips on both ends of the board? If so would someone tell me how to use a Delta Desk Top Planer without the snip going in as well as coming out?

    We used one in General Tech. Class (woodshop) awhile back. Always need ear protection while using it, though. Learned my lesson the hard way. Ears were ringing for five minutes.

  • @s37d hell yes they are, i brought mine for $850(aus) and its been a good buy, easy 2 use and produces a great finish, only problem is that is 42kg :( other tan that a really great buy

  • I have a shop vac, but for planers, you really need a dust collector. I burned up a shop vac because the amount of wood chips and dust choked out the filter.
