I think karma came back to bite George do to the fact he hurt Ringo by sleeping with Maureen in his home, he even locked the door with Patti banging heartbroken. Maureen was cruel too. They said, "Why don't we divorce?" She went to Los Angeles. He stayed in LA. The point is that I think she should have shown him more respect. He was such a genius and a lovely, lovely man.
