  • yea all of my friends tell me to go to the pool. im so self conscious, and my friends eat mcdonalds like all of the time v.v and im overweight, i never eat with them and they look at me like im smoking crack, one of my friends say "oh kristin your not fat your so skinny." she weights freaking 90 pounds and im like twice her size. i wonder what she really thinks i look like, like im a beahed wale :( i allways avoid these places, but now im losing weight and im feeling happy.

  • @thebiggestloser18 well with my family there a bunch of cooking freaks so i eat TONS of rich food, homemade Alfredo sauce with heavy cream and asiago :D making my mouth water right now xD but just tell your parents to buy you tons of fruits and veggies ^-^ i bet they would do it, my family is very supportive and i got the just dance game! :DDD lost around 12lbs using it every night for 3 hours, if i didn't eat so much rich food i would weigh less, but i cant give it up x3

  • People need to be careful about comments they make about 'Skinny people' they tend to get judged just as much and everyone has become so sensitive about larger people that they allow them to bully skinny girls saying they need to eat more and stuff and judging them and not all of them tend to be critical of larger girls and not all of them can control how little they are just as much as larger people can control their size

  • @chattabox3685 i understand what u mean. i wasn't judging or criticizing anyone, and i certainly wasn't meaning ALL skinny girls, i was just saying that i hate how SOME girls who are skinny say they're fat. it's ridiculous.

  • As for the pop, you gotta switch to a diet or no calorie soda... I think that was 100% my downfall into weight gain. And btw, I still was able to eat mcd's every once and a while but i would keep in mind that if i toook in 1000 cals there i could only have 800 fr the rest of the day (i usually stayed at 1800). As long as you excercise, you can spoil yourself with food a little.. I rarely felt deprived. I personally feel it can't be achieved without excercise, most important. Good luck :)

  • @mprincessb1984 thank you :) congrats btw!! I just hate diet pop, it's disgusting and can't tolerate it, but i've been able to cut back a lot and drink a lottttt of water, like today when i was on my break from work, i had a bottle of water instead of a coke. i was pretty proud of myself :)

  • I'm no weight loss expert, but I used to weigh 240lbs and walked myself down to 160lbs. It's not impossible, and I feel 100% better without the extra weight on my body. I would always make excuses that i didn't have time to excercise, but i certaintly had time to watch lots of tv! All it takes is a little self motivation and somewhat better eating. I started on a monday and went for an hour walk everyday through the park with my ipod...

  • I'm fat and If people dont like it they can kiss my ass only reason I mind being fat is because of my health...if i could be fat and healthy I'd Luv it,i'm 6'3 300pounds i'd be perfect at 275...and i hate when girls who are over weight think they are ugly because they are over weight, 2 me a girl with some meat on there bones are more attractive than a lil skinny ass girl

  • i just love how skinny people are like "put down the fork" or whatever, but sometimes its not their fault. if your parents are unhealthy, then most of the times the kids are unhealthy, and it's really hard to break a cycle like that. if you're parents are really healthy, then most of the times the kids are healthy, so if you always been skinny and healthy, what could you possibly know about being fat?

  • @thebiggestloser18 omg! you responded to my comment!!! so while i've got your attention, i just wanted to tell you that you're such an inspiration to me. i've recently been rehabilitated for bulimia nervosa because of who i was. people dont really understand the affects of calling someone fat or making fun of their weight. and instead of being sad, your just like "yeah, so what! i'm trying to change myself for the better so why are you worried about it?" and i think that's really cool!!! :)

  • Eat Healthy while excersising and if you see a fat food try to control your self and stay away and dont think about food do somthing that is for for example b ball excersising and stuff like that to keep your mind off food

I could totally help u out whenever just email me xshyxgirlx74@yahoo.com I think the key is to start slow and just kinda replace foods like 1 at a time oh and I noticed u said u eat like 1 or 2 meals a day, it's actually better for your metabolism to eat 4 or 5 smaller meals and spreading it out also controls hunger a lot better and prevents bingeing. Anyway if u want any kind of help, tips or just someone to vent to I'm here :) I know sooo much about health

  • Hi, my name is Chase, I have not had an issue with weight but I have been in nursing for nine years and had many people in my family that had issues with it. I wanted to tell you about the plan (not diet) my grandmother and aunt did. They did this plan with a doctor and I have told a number of friends about it who it has helped.

  • The basic plan is to get fruits that hold water like, grapes, oranges, watermelon, kiwi exc. Eat 1 to 1-1/2 cup of fruit before each meal. Make fruit salads, add granola. Yogurt will also help with digestion so will pineapple. 8oz of water DURING each meal. Water gives your system time to register what you have eaten. Eat anything you like or want to eat. Use large saucers to serve each meal or portion out a large ice-cream scoop serving size for each item on your plate.

  • Depending on how fast you want this to work you can add other things to make it go faster. I have no doubt that the extra planning makes it harder to do and more stressful to follow. The extra things you can do include making your morning meals high protein meals. Like EGG, MILK, peanut butter on whole wheat toast. The morning meal is the most important because if you don’t eat it you will feel hungry the rest of the day, besides it is what gives you the get up and go energy for the day.

  • Make your lunch meal the big meal. By big I mean the heavy meal. Things like steak, potatoes things you would normally eat at supper. Eating the heavy stuff at lunch will give you time to burn off the calories before you go to bed. Make your supper meal light and eat it long before you go to bed so you don’t have it in your system when you lay down. Make it something like grilled chicken and salad greens, grapes, nuts and salad dressing.

  • Last but not least, if you go out to eat split the meal in half with someone else or take it home for leftovers the next day. This is because most meals from restaurants are much larger than a traditional meal. Again pack an orange in your purse and eat it before your takeout food.

    The good thing about this is that you have no restrictions on what you can eat, only when you eat it. The main key to this is the glasses of water and the water in the fruit.

  • The more water you drink the faster it will work. I know you said you like soda. Get a flavoring to put in the water if you need to. Something like Chrystal Light would work well. Get yourself fountain sodas at quick stops but don’t buy large bottles or cases of soda to bring home. The point is DON’T deprive yourself or punish yourself by not allowing yourself to eat what you like. I wish you the best of luck and hope this helps you in some way.

The heavier you get, the more you approach the point of no return. You'll reach a point (if you are not there yet) where it would be impossible for you to exercise, or "move enough" to prevent you from getting heavier. Then it will be hopeless, don't let it get to that. MAKE A CHANGE

I've tried to go vegan, but it was sooo hard. I loved that u said if you've never been fat, you don't know!!   • HIYA! i used to be super ovr weight and while i have lost weight ive also gained some (its muscle) what i did was sports! (im currently 15)i played on the vb team freshman year, then swam, and worked out every night and now do running and weight lifting. ive dropped 5 sizes & im muscle bulky and have a flat tummy (im working hard to get my six pack!!!) EXCERSIZE. thats all i can say 4 weight loss. eat right and just work it off. member, u dont have to b a stick 2b beautiful <3

  • I'm fat too! When I was little I used to drink a lot of soda but I slowly started moving towards drinking water. Soda doesn't hydrate me enough so I drink water because it tastes good 8) One thing I hate is died soda eww I prefer water just try to drink water! Water=life oh and it's calories and 0 fat :D I've lost 20 pounds so far tee-hee

  • @thebiggestloser18 Fair enough, maybe you dont eat that much, but there must be something in your life making you put on weight. The average person does not put on weight if they do not eat more than 2000 calories. In fact if you eat less than 1800 calories in a day you lose wait. For you to be the size you are I would estimate you eat about 3500 - 4000 calories a day. And Im guessing you dont exercise. If you ate what I specified above and went for a 30 min walk per day you would be thin.

  • I know what it feels like- I'm 16, a guy, 5'9 and 63 kilos and hate my body. I'm scrawny except for my chubby thighs, man boobs and enormous love handles (looks like an hourglass:I). I started jogging and working out everyday a few days ago so I hope I can get the body I want. It's not about what you weigh, you either can sleep barechested and wear singlets in public and swim without always wearing a rashshirt, or you can't. I can't so for that we're in the same boat :)

  • hey girl! iam trying to lose weight too. it's so hard. i will diet for a few days, and then ill just go on an all out, binge. i just hate to even go to walmart, because i dont want people2notice ive gained weight,after i just lost a bunch...ive read that fasting is really good,like fast every other day or so,cuz it will decrease your overall calorie intake every week. any decrease in calories is a good thing! but also!i wanted to tell you, low carb book, Metabolism Miracle helped me lose 40lbs!!

  • hey... i apreciate your honesty first of all... but... come on girl... try to loose that weight! look, i`m overweight to, right now i`m on a liquid diet ( nothing else seemed to work) and i have ups and down`s with it.. YOU NEVER SHOULD STOP TRYING to loose weight... when we`re fat the reality is that we look horrible.. sorry, english is not my first language

  • dont worry about the weight treat your body like your a healthy weighted person that eats and exersizes at healthy amounts,dont over exersize and please for the love of everything good dont under eat,just try and eat 3 balanced meals,if you dont skip meals ans dont asociate food with control you wont bacome anerxic,and dont even look at it as lossing weight look at it as getting healthy,because if your healthy but still alittle chubby and someone tells you to lose the weight just slap them:)

  • @Haililovestheworld17 lol ur comments always make my day :) and i agree with the being healthy part. I've been cutting back on food a lot, but it's not just because I'm making myself, I just don't feel like eating much, but then again after losing the love of my life, it's been rough..

  • Dont worry and dont say WHEN my mom is over weight and she says WHEN i get skinny ill wear cute things like this,but dont say that its not about being skinny its about being healthy,instead she should have said oh now that im getting healthier ill be able to feel comfortable in this,but id like to slim down a little so i fit it better.I cant stress this enoghe,dont skip meals,dont abuse laxitives,dont use diet plans,

  • I used to b 210 now im 125 in like about three months i lost all that the thing is that it wasnt the healthy way i did it by not eating and abusing laxatives i would give anything to b u and b happy again .....

  • @irvingserrot626 don't say that, you dont wanna be me, trust me. it's hard for me to be happy, but i try to be though as often as i can, even if it never lasts very long, i used to the wrong for my depression growing up, now when i get depressed i write songs :)

  • @Haililovestheworld17 lol i don't mind :) and i know what mean...i had an eating disorder called binge eating when i was very little, i ate away my feelings and emotions, i wasn't diagnosed or anything but i knew i had it, and im scared that if i do get skinny i'll be anorexic because i've been overweight my whole life :/
