I am the team leader of the Dale County CERT team in our area in Ozark, Al

I first started a group in our area for volunteers and our local Sheriff found out about my group and lead me to meet our Dale County EMA director who him and his wife is now help me lead our group as a DALE CO CERT GROUP. We just started our first CERT training class and we look so forward forming our first CERT group in our area... I want to be in CERT SOOOOO badly, I'm 15 and I have a genuine interest in EMS, I know a lot about first aid and emergency treatment, I have had experience with treating victims in pre-EMS response(I am a lifeguard, and have walked up to some bad situations before)

I was lucky enough to be part of Capt.Lazenbys first class in our area. Since then hes trained hundreds of people.We are the # 1 monst prepared city in our county due to all his hard work!And he does this as a volunteer!

This is an important video to have and start the training ASAP. I am a retired police dispatcher and know through experience, that there will never be enough help in a major event. Please take CERT and let's all work toward taking care of ourselves, our neighbors, and even those who may be relocated to our area. We need to be prepared. This is a very informative video. I myself have one and I have shared it with several other people. I would hope that when disaster strikes that all my neighbors are CERT certified. No one can be too prepared.

I own this video, and purchased a few extra's to give as gifts to family members in other states. This video covers just about any disaster that might occur across the United States. We should be prepared, and encourage our family and friends to be prepared also.

A copy of this video should be in every home. Lots of the information is common knowledge, and lots of it is new, but we all need to be reminded. Usually it takes a disater to make people take action. But we should all be prepared ahead of time, because just like the instructor in this video says, 'it's coming and it will affect us', those are pretty strong, but true words.

We need to take Captain Lazenby's advice. CERT training is nation wide, and we all should take advantage of it.

I have seen this entire video. I am amazed at how informative and interesting it is. After watching Captain Lazenby explain what will happen after and during an emergency it motivated me to take the CERT class and to be active in my community. Every person should be required to take this class and be better prepared. This video is so informative I will buy it and buy a couple extra to pass around. This is a must have for every house.
