I was one of the many puppeteers working at the "end of the rainbow" as it was. But the special effects were added in later. There were probably 150 of us. We learned how to make the puppets lip synch to the song. I was doing a cat puppet, and we just moved the mouth and lower jaw. We were actually standing under the stage and the puppets were level with the false floor. It took us a full day. I remember having dinner in the commissary because we went into overtime. LOVED IT!!!
