Ya, you want to take off with the yoke as far back as possible to save the prop from water damage. And then you release it slowly as you get on the step.

Ya, I would love amphibs but I cant afford them. A set of amphibs for this planne is about 50 grand. And you do lose alot of performance on amphibs.

My father used to own a Beech Baron and I done the same thing.

I now fly Boeing 777-200ER and I think all children should be given such an oppurtunity instead of doing nothing but cause trouble these days!
