Uhh.. no.. when the ball is the air it's still considered your dribble. You don't start counting steps until he picks the ball up. When he cuffs the ball on his hip, the dribble ended, and he took 2 steps after that and dunked.
well i can explain that, according to the Fiba rules you can only give 2 steps, it doesnt matter if your going to do a dunk or a lay-up. Anyway in the nba you can give 3 steps, but only if your going to dunk, its the rules in nba, the ref rarely calls it if the player will go to a dunk.
