@daking540 well let me tell you some here.. if you cant really afford a cd or dvd to copy your data then you are extremely POOR and you should sell your computer and buy yourself a YOYO with it!!!
are fucking kidding me use cds? thats the worst way from the 3 shown and you pick it? what if you have like 20gb of hd movies and music + photos how many fucking cds are you gonna waste and how much time? just connect both computers through ethernet cord then go to network center you'll see your files from new pc to old pc and vice versa then just drag and drop(its very generalized but you get the point)
All these videos only show you how to transfer files, HOW ABOUT PROGRAMS?? I mean seriously everyone knows how to transfer files what about programs, I'm not stupid I just can't seem to find anywhere that tells you how. I mean I know how to get the files onto the other computer but that of course doesn't install it the files just sit there. How do I use them after I moved them from one computer to the other?
@BeastieGroove im tryin to find out this same info... i was wondering if you ever found out any info on this.... all im finding is how to transfer files... i want to transfer a studio program i no longer have serial number for!
@theTradeOfficial Hey yeah, I don't know what to tell you, seems like some files do work by transferring everything in the file folder the your new computer, but still, programs like the one you're referring to just wont work I don't know much else about it. Sorry..
Love it how all these tutorials are based on the Bill Gates theory of not needing more than a 700MB Hard Drive back in the 80's. How do you transfer 200GB of data without screwing around with flash drives and CD's?
Unfortunately this doesn't work with most pc's which come with proprietary OS disks. This is because if you use the Vista disk that comes with the new PC, and put it into the old PC... you get an error message & everything stops there. Anyone have any suggestions?
your the dumb ass.

Lmao, CD's? Is this is joke? You guys are the real dummies. In today's world we use more than 4GBs of information on our computers. Embarrassing.
