@skinpaj what pen is that? i just started two days ago and all i can do is a palm up sonic, palm down sonic, and a slow but fluid finger pass.. what do you recommend i learn next to make a simple combo?

The pen I'm using is a Dr.KT, one of the more balanced and bigger ones.

Ah sounds great.. I would recommend to start practising all the fundamental (basic tricks) in reverse order.

Like Thumbaround, Sonic, Charge and fingerpass.. all in Normal and Reverse order.

I delight in 4 months penspinning. I learned about 20 tricks and Kam 4 loop combo. In your opinion, to learn a simple combo like (Sonic laughed -> Shadow 12-23 -> Sonic 23-12 -> Ta extended), how long do I need?

@Valewish: Ah nice, sounds like a good beginning!

How long time you need to get a combo down is totaly up to you, how much practise you lay down. For some peoples it can take a few days, for others some weeks/months.

A doesn't need to be long either, it can only include two tricks to say it's a combo : )

No this isn't just a regular pen, it's balanced for doing penspinning tricks etc.

But from the beginning it can be round 4 different pens you take parts from to get one PS-pen.

You can get real PS-pens from penwish dot com, there's a lot of different pens to chose from. I recomend it : ) Good luck!

oh.nevermind. Do you know which user has real beginner combos that only use fundamentals? Most of the tutorials on youtube that are called "easy combo"are mostly filled with advanced tricks.

Hehe.

Yeah it's round middlelevel of skills you need for these combos.

It depends of how fast you are learning tricks, I really don't think you can do these tricks/combos smooth after two weeks. You need many hours/weeks practise to get them smooth.

Hm... have you heard about the 'Fingersystem' ?

If you take your hand and count..

Thumb = T

Indexfinger = 1

Middlefinger = 2

Ringfinger = 3

Pinkyfinger = 4

It's hard to explain with out pictures and so on. Exampel: If you combo your Indexfinger and Middlefinger you will get '12'

Hope you can figure it out = )

It's very important to know this system to understand breakdown and combos and so on.
