brits do everything better than americans (that doesnt include black people they still play the blues and jazz much better), but rock would be nothing iwhtout b rits and till this day they make much more sophisticated music , thats not for 16 year olds in skirts.

Thanks! I got hooked when I saw Big Bill Broonzy in Bristol (UK) in the 50s - then again when I saw the Rev Gary Davis in Manchester in 1964. Magic! :-) Will

If you saw Rev Davis nothing more need be said. I sat next to him at a folk festival we both played in 1971. He was doing a guitar workshop. I don't believe there was anyone in the room who wasn't deeply affected.
