I think I remember this game, it was my first Wings game and they called the game in the 3rd period because of too much fighting. Can anyone confirm this was the game???

@Spooler6 yes indeed.. i was there!! the game was ended within minutes of the 3rd quarter. Soda and ice thrown onto the field.. it happened in 1994.

Actually, Detroits goalie was Mike Sammut #31, Sawicki wore #30. Sammut was a very aggressive goalie when it came to fights.

Classic rivalry from the late 80's/early 90's The Gaits started with Dtroit the traded to Philly, Ted Dowling (DET), Dallas Eliuk (PHI), Ted Sawicki (DET-eventually Buffalo Bandits head coach), Dean Cecconi (DET), lots of EPBLL/MILL/NLL greats fighting it out in this one

I was at this game and was just talking about it as one of my favorite spectrum memories. I think I was only 13 years old, but I will never forget it. They called the game, eventually gave the win to philly and the next week they patted us down for the next game against Buffalo. People started throwing sodas onto the Detroit players who were harassing the Philly fans. Great Memories.

I am surprised that anyone has this!!! I was at this game with my cousin. They ended the entire game and kicked everyone out in the 3rd.! Fans were fighting, man it was nuts, wish we had more footage of it. This was back in I think 93

I remember seeing the full version of this tilt...got pretty crazy. PA guy pleading with the fans to stop throwing garbage on the floor.Looked like it got way out of hand.

Anyone seen a video of a fight and crazy fan fight/ riot at the Aud in Buffalo? Think it was between Philly and the Bandits.
