mods turns your game much cooler like it gets you a better fighting style or maybe changes the armor you wearing too something better XD but only you can see the mod and the ones that has the same mod, Lightsabers you get a free one at lvl 26 and can only use color crystal on it and at lvl 30 you can use a power crystal and color, and at lvl 38 you create your own, 2hand , 1hand, or double

hey guys i just got my training saber 2 days ago and every time im inside a building i cant hear my lightsabers on sound and my off sound is really quiet but it works fine when im outside please help me.

the lightsaber has to have 2 crystal slots.

You have to have the Lightsaber crafting tool and be of level to craft it. I assume you know this now considering you posed this 4 months ago.

DON'T buy anything to make a lightsaber untill you reach lvl 38 and you have to be a jedi. Once you get to level 26 you will get a jedi artifact and once you activate it you will recieve a quest telling you to go to a cave on naboo to get a color crystal. Once you finish the quest you will get a green bladed lightsaber. When you get to level 30 you will get the first generation lightsaber but won't be able to craft one untill 38 like i said before.

It is completely client side meaning it only edits your side of the game...no one else sees it this way but you see everyone else doing it.

And yes you can play online using this :)

SWG was the game that really got people going back into MMO's. There was always alot with EQ, but SWG's PVP was the best of any game still that I have played to this day! The skillbox system in the game was the first I had ever played and I cannot say enough how much I HATE LEVELS still! IN SWG.. you knew by your character!! Made it great for grouping together and made Combat medics insanely awesome for any group!!! New Star WArs MMO is hopefully coming so we can get our community back together!

I am currently working on a Double Bladed Lightsaber Animation Mod. I only just began yesterday, since my machine broke down last week, and had to get a new one. I recon it'll be a few days before I release the new Mod at ModSource. I'll update this post as soon as it is finished, with a link to the Mod.

The Mod will target specific animations to make your lightsaber fighting with double bladed ls look as close to Darth Maul Movie Style as possible.

I still play SWG even in the abomination form it is in. The truth is that it is in fact dying, more servers are becoming barren. There has been a very small fluctuation of new people to the game, but it has yet and will never reach the level it once was in the pre-cu. Main reason being that some of us say it isn't that fun (in comparison to the old SWG it is true), two there is no real publicity for the game, the game is too centered on end-tier (which it is dismal to level new characters, etc..

Aye last server report for the highest populated server at peak hours was i think 300-500 compaired to pre-CU's 1500+ that alone says the games dying infact its allready brain dead SOE is just keeping it on life support to milk every penny out of it. hints why you are seeing no Server merges they wanna milk those payed transfers for everything there worth.

these are just all the old combat animations from pre-CU nothing new. SOE hasent added anything new to this game sense 2005, and even then the last two "expansions" wher half assed movie promotions. the game is dying a slow and painful death, do it a favor and put it out of its misery.

have you gone to the forums lately? they added a whole hell load of new content. heroic instances, collections, profession updates, alot of fun stuff.

so don't say this game is dying, it's not. this is a fun game now.

Thats not new content just edited scripts. All that "content" pre exsisted in the form of maps Animations and partical effects its just been "reused" on server side scripts. Hell even a twevel year old with no past experience with programing could write them. SOE isent going to put money into paying more programers, And the current Ghost crew(a dev team of five people) maintaining SWG dosent know how to do more then the novice IE code monkeys, There just going to milk it for all they can.

its an okay game all around and i love it but you still have to remeber what it was like Pre-CU and Pre-NGE its way differnt and simpler.
