i don't know i don't have any of them to try it out but if it is possible to play on pc with those controllers it should be possible on the macbook too.

which one? the new white macbook and either new aluminum one should be capable, but don't expect anything amazing. the 2.0ghz versions should be able to run it, but this game is thirsty for power from what I hear. the one in this video is the 2.4ghz one if I'm not mistaken, and it seems to do pretty well on lower settings.

Hey i was wondering how the controls are on the mac. i mean i have this game for ps3 but am getting a new macbook over the summer and i was looking to see what games to pick up

if you want to play games dont buy a mac, it is much easier to buy a pc because they're cheaper and macs need to have windows bootcamped to play most games.

yeah i already got my macbook pro and it plays this game fine, along with others such as oblivion and unreal tournament. Oh and i have the windows 7 beta and can get any progra/operating system for free. But anyway macs are great for everyday use and casual gaming, but for my serious gaming i just use my ps3 or 360. Oh and I do plan on buying a gaming pc next summer, even though i love macs with all my heart :) lol

You're still spending the same money. A $700 HP that says its gaming is not. If you want to smoothly play a game you need to buck out some cash. The Sims 3 runs better on my low end 2008 iMac than my friends $800 Gateway from 2008 with quad core and 512 mb vram.

if you dont set your resolution or graphics to the max, and medium it will run smooth

I have a macbook aluminium 2.0 Ghz with XP SP3 and the game isn't that smooth...

There shouldn't be any difference between the 2.0 and 2.4! because if you check the taskmanager GTA doensn't need a lot of cpu power.

Maybe vista is better than xp for gta 4 :-/

i am sorry about that, i had a hard time finding the correct angle with my camera and a stupid little box used as a tripod, which wasnt at the perfect height, but thanks for your comment!
