  • @23JcDominguez Sorry lol i was getting confused with karate for a sec,im gray belt.

  • @theedenpapi

    Are you still confused?

White, Blue, Purple, brown, black, black and red, red.

  • @23JcDominguez In my dojo they give us a gray belt after white -_-

  • @23JcDominguez there is yellow in BJJ so learn your facts before you try to talk trash. yellow is equal to blue blet for kids and teens.

  • this guy screwd up your videos v=VN0bR3kL5pQ

  • I am a big BJJ fan. The gracies are legends in the martial arts world.

  • true about most people who don't no how to fighter right will throw a wide swinging right hand 1st in a street fight, but problem is. In a street fight when he you put that 2nd underhook in and your heads/faces come together. They are going to bit your ear/nose or cheek off. Don't know what street fights are like where they come from?? Here they're a bit dirty!!

  • @cooky0705 I disagree. In this demonstration they are moving slowly to show how the takedown is performed, in an actual fight the move would be very fluid and fast. One moment the attacker would be throwing a punch and before he realizes what happens he would be on the ground.

  • @shanedasontv You are my hero(:

  • @shanedasontv shouldve choked him out and he most likely wouldnt have started bullying other kids.

  • This technique is known as tani otoshi in judo. You could also to take him down on his side for yoko otoshi with fewer steps. Still good video

  • This is a judo tani toshi.

  • theres loads of big 9th graders im going into 9th there going into 10th meaning there going to be big any tips on fighting :/ can anyone give me great tutorials

just to say the people who are tough in 10th grade are like 5ft9

  • @GOWPGgaming best tip you can have is avoid fighting. Sure the situation may arise when you need to defend yourself and if it does, don't take shit from any1. most people don't know shit just like the guy says in the video alot of people throw a giant right first, this vid helps man.

  • @shanedasontv get in

  • this is tani otoshi in japanese jujitsu but we dont tie up both arms underneath becouse he has free fingers to gouge ur eyes but i think what ur showing is if done flowing then it works but done in steps it hasa lot of holes for self protection reasons. plz respond im curiouse. thanks.

  • @jasonironliongreen Brazilian Jiu Jitsu was taken from Japanese Jiu Jitsu it was taught by Jugo kano to Helio Gracie who then changed it into what he called the ultimate combat sport which is why it has self defense holes

  • @LoveAlliePlis

Your info is full of shit and contains many errors.

BJJ was taken from Japanese Kodokan Judo from which Jigoro (NOT "Jugo" ,dumbass) Kano developed from Japanese Jujutsu.

Kano did NOT train Helio Gracie. One of Kano's top students: Mitsuyo Maeda taught the Gracie brothers and Helio learnt it from that.

  • @largefirmmember So I got the name wrong go ahead and cry all you like rofl. Troll just a lifeless troll. What do you know about anything? Theres films showing Jigoro training gracie asshole go shove a cock up your ass. And BJJ was taken from Jiu Jitsu hence the name Brazilian JIU JITSU if it was Kodokan Judo the gracie family would have named it Brazilian Kodokan Judo. Or Brazilian Judo. Kano hadn't officially developed his form of Judo till after teaching Helio Jiu Jitsu.

  • @LoveAlliePlis Do your research. There's a good reason and explanation why BJJ was referred to as Jiu Jitsu instead of Brazillian Judo. Look it up. I'm not even going to bother explaining it to you because clearly you don't check your facts but just like to talk crap.

Maeda was the main trainer of the Gracie's. If Kano had trained them at some point so what? Their main influence was Maeda.

  • @shanedasontv i would like this but it already has 69 likes to yea.... nice though :)

  • I wonder if they canteach me how to make a Hadoken.

Oh yeah hold 5 to hear him say oWnEd

  • I wonder if they canteach me how to make a Hadoken

  • Theres so many takedowns available to you when you have double underhooks this one is all right but i suggest learning the outside throw or the other trip

  • @shanedasontv COOL STORY BRO.

  • ya fag your rly a bad ass

  • that's funny, he says once he gets the second under hook in, then there's nothing they can do? but there is, the other can guy can take his leg and sweep around the back of the other guys leg and reverse this and do the take down. or with the underhooks in the other guy can take either of his arms since they are above his opponents arms and throw a choke on. BJJ has several ways of getting out of aything, depends on what and how you apply it.

  • seems like something you would do IF you got in that standing double armed hug position, but not something you would strive for.

  • @seiben713 Double armed hug meaning clinch?

  • he can head but you when you get both underhooks

  • they dont make it look realistic

  • 11 people got taken down with this takedown

  • Im taking muay thai 4 a year now nd imma start bjj this summer. wanna look experienced when i show up this helpz alot.

  • If you fallow this video, you will get punched in the back of the head when he throws the looping hook. You have to block the punch first. Then your already on the right side so just do the same take down from that side. Not efficient to move to the other side to perform the take down. For the kid who defended himself and others, you must have a great instructor. You are the definition of what this Art is all about. Good Job!

  • guys you should know that a lot of bjj practitioners consider marc zee to be a fake in arizona and no one knows exactly where he got his black belt.

do some research and you will find Gustavo Dantas or Wellington Dias are much better teachers if you live in pheonix. if you are in tucson, then Rick Bueno.

I think this is important. Thumbs up if you agree.

  • @shanedasontv Hardman

  • @shanedasontv so you used this art to test it on the bully and scare him off? bullshit. your just trying to show off

  • @JimboSlice114 ok you think that its okay thats your oppinion but it wasnt trying to show off it was well trying not to get like punched in the face or something...so i used this art to protect myself and after that he just didnt bother with anybody any more so you can say that no skin off my back..

  • I'm 33 now, but other guys, back me up. Wouldn't it be great to go back to grade school and even high school and know this shit?? Imagine being a black belt in BJJ at age 13? The look on the first bully's face when he thinks he's gonna kick your ass but you end up choking the shit out of him would be priceless!

  • @MedicalVideoJunkie I know right

  • @shanedasontv Thata boy. I like it when the little guy stands up for himself and makes an ass out of a big bully. The fact you stand up for other kids too makes you a pretty cool dude. Keep kickin' ass.

  • he kinda sounds like the teacher from southpark: "mmmkay?"

  • @shanedasontv i know right? mix that with a bit of gym dude.. and you will be beastin.

  • @shanedasontv epic.

  • Great and Awesome Coaching skill bro and thanks for posting the video again. I want to start taking BJJ again, do you know any good school in South Orange County CA that you would recommend?

    Thanks

  • @shanedasontv you're so good.

  • @shanedasontv good on you. I would've held the guillotine, the worst that would've happened is that he would've passed out

  • expert advice: DO NOT SMELL enemy's under arms.. maybe it can kill you.

  • man if i was in jijitu i want a girl teacher to much grabbing and touching

  • @shanedasontv well arent you special

  • @TheFreerunningDingo1 every school I've been to there has been someone who does something similar kind of funny so many people learning martial arts now days

  • @TheFreerunningDingo1 hahaha just what i thought. genious.

  • bjj sucks no affence when you gonna fight real life you will forget all the moves and probaly run away when u fight you jsut hit anywhere like when i fight i ouch him like 15times in the head and i KQ him

  • @tomasakas222 dude i jus started bjj at 6:30 it is now 9:30 i remember all of the moves i learned today believe me u wudnt pick a fight wit any bjj proper fighters

  • @shanedasontv If you're in Grade 7, that means you've been taking BJJ since you were around 7-8 years old? Here where I live they won't teach BJJ in a gym until you are at least 14 years of age. What belt do you have?

  • @RockFan120 it depends on the dojo. Some schools start as young as 4-5 years old. And, if he's been doing it that long, I would say he has his Green Belt by now. Kids canNOT try for blue, until 16 years of age. THose are the rules set forth by the IBJJF. Green belt for kids, is almost a brown belt for adults. The techniques they know may not be such high level, but the time put in and dedication to training, would be that equivilant. As explianed to me by my instructor(s). Hope that helps.

  • @shanedasontv i am glad u did that u didn't hurt him but that u prove that the bully under estimated u and u showed him. so maybe now he should think about who he bullies. cause one day some person is gonna hurt him real bad.

  • im using this while i wrestle it helps alot!

  • i hate the ads i dont care nor watch them

  • in a real fight nobody would be that gental or slow though.

  • @minimike183 I think they are being so gentle and slow cause they wanna avoid hurting each other. In a real fight they would propably execute this technuique much faster, but in practice I think they don't wanna risk injuring their partner.

  • @Altairograph dude ur soo right i was training bjj 4 mi 1st time today i was been thought slowly coz speed and weight are a big things in a fight if u do these to fat it can seriously hurt sum one

  • @minimike183 well DUH! But you DON'T want to hurt your training partners! Otherwise, how are you to train if they are all injured? OR, they might hurt YOU back! LOL Real fighs as different then practice, of course we know that when we train. :-)

  • @shanedasontv good on ya ;)

  • @shanedasontv you should teach me something XD im in 8th grade but im not a big bully lol

  • @shanedasontv LOL you should teach me takedowns XD

  • Nice video quality cock sucker

  • @shanedasontv just be careful please. don't mess with the wrong type of people.

guns beat any martial art ever created.

    good job though. bullies suck.

  • @smokeyandcraig nope i know this martial art that teaches u to deflect bullets off ur chest its called bodybuilding cause muscle more then a few inches is bullet proof

  • @timstramadal if only that was true. arnold would actually be a real life terminator :P

  • @shanedasontv How long have you been practicing BJJ? Because I'm the same age as you, and I wanna start taking martial arts to deal with bullies.

  • @shanedasontv thats awesome man im the same age as u and i want to become a great fighter

  • @shanedasontv dude thats awesome keeps defending people that get bullied

  • @shanedasontv dude ur like BATMAN, keep doing what you are doing but mind your surroundings

  • @shanedasontv why was he able to get up

Don't ever take HIS word for when YOU are done

I'm glad you have the damn mind to realize technique over strength and I'm gonna sub to you,

"The Czech Overseer" Ryan Ballenger, High School Freshman

  • @mmaninjitsu thanks man i have been practicing for a while i love it it shows you dont have to be strong to have good technique you just have to be right minded, and not use your martial arts skills to become some big strong fighter do it so you know your protected at your weakest time. thanks for all the likes a nd comments people :)

  • @shanedasontv Thanks man

  • The real problem with this instructional is this is described as defense against a right handed punch.Otherwise, it's good.

  • @lemonite1 ya but it would work for most fights becuas most people are right handed

  • all i can do is diss ppl that think there good like theese clowns go in the ring with a real mma fighter u get ko'ed bye bye

  • i hate how all these tough lads go on and on about moves and techniques and how they're so good. just shut up.

  • @fightluv It depends on your situation. The average Joe needs to get out of there quickly. Going to the ground is not a good idea because of multiple attackers and weapons. A cop on the other hand may find this useful. He can take the attacker to the ground and subdue them.without having to punch the persen in the face which looks bad in court. Either way ground techniques are god to know because the clinch even in boxing is very common. You at least need to be able to get back on your feet

  • stop usin a microphone. wen yal get to close it meses up

  • these look like bitch moves

  • @yodaddyxx it looks like someones gonna fuck you up if you get in a fight with someone who knows these moves

  • @jonjon1189 that's highly doubtful my son

  • @yodaddyxx you keep thinkin that

  • @fightluv depends. It's good for any one on one fight. HORRIBLE FOR MULTIPLE ATTACKERS

  • @therabbit101 okay.. so you know muay thai instead for multiple attackers.. now what happens if one off the attackers knows bjj? once you hit the floor.. all that stand up training goes out the window.. weapons are really the only way to fend off multiple attackers

  • @jonjon1189 I do take muay thai. I ran into that problem in an amateur fight. The only way to defend against bjj is to have good take down defense. When fighting multiple opponents, you have to distance yourself from the one who knows how to fight. Use the other opponents to maneuver around the BJJ. Since BJJ has no footwork, it should be very easy to get them in each other's way. Also, I have a great takedown defense. I sprawl on instinct, and I know enough BJJ to stand me up in any position.

  • @jonjon1189

weapons are not the only way, unless you dont know how to fight

  • @Kickbuttmexican still a wannabe mma fan

  • @Kickbuttmexican considering your name you are a wannabe ass licking mma fan

  • youd better hope that they dont get double over hooks.

  • get ready for an elbow in your face if you try to take me down like that

  • @LeoLovesNature dude you will still be taken down, also probably scream like a baby when they get you on a choke hold or submission moves, BJJ is known to beat even the most experienced fighters in around the world, dont think your elbow will save you

  • @LeoLovesNature I think that in a real fight or mma fight, the distance would be closed too fast when the guy swings his first shot in order for you to react with an elbow...and in that angle, I doubt an elbow would have much power or effect

  • Is this a judo move? I saw it somewhere else before this.

  • @iMaKeUsHoOk

same here. i think i may have seen this in a judo comp.

  • in the end of the move he can easily throw an elbow to the head

  • @113qazz If you get slammed on concrete or anything non-mat your gunna be more worried about your broken ribs then hitting him with an elbow.

  • At 1:04 If his opponent is just a bit skilled,he can easily blow his head with an elbow...same thing can happen at 2:49....so the guy in white better be fast to neutralize those hands or avoid them....just my opinion

  • @dillaOne It is true than there are many positions in grappling that leave you open for strikes. However, the position is made so that the power of the strike is minimal. You may get cut but you are not going to get knocked out. Once you obtain the dominant position then you can inflict damage by submision or strikes. There is no art that can guarantee not getting hit in the face. Is often more about how you take the hit than being able to dodge them. Even multi million dollar fighters get hit.

  • @mrgees100peas hmmm.so true.you're right.;)

  • this is funny but it works. Something I've always done is get the double underhooks like that and just dig my chin into their trapezius or neck muscles, hitting a pressure point, thus bringing them to their knees. Very unorthodox, but its just kind of humorous.

  • lets get back to the vidio and the tactics taught here please-cyber space threats are a waste of time-this instructor is giving his time to teach a basic mma move that might assist in real a confortation-pldsgtmajusmc

  • what if hes righty is it the same operation but just opposite step in?

  • @TonyDent84 I can tell you're a BSer by bragging about how many fights you got into. If you were really in 30-40 fights, you'd be in prison in the modern era. You're some PC Warrior talking trash online.

  • @TonyDent84 So you're from Bensonhurst? Who cares? I'm not from Nebraska or Idaho. I'm not even from a suburb. I'm from Newark, NJ which makes Bensonhurst look rich (not to mention Newark has a higher crime rate). If you honestly took that path in life where you fought 30+ times, then you're a fool. If you didn't, then you're a liar. Plus, I've seen the way people from the "ghetto" fought (thankfully, I got out of it). They do use weapons at time, or they have their "crew" jump in.

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyDent84 Yes, so I magically picked Newark, NJ, a city few people, if any, know about unless they're flying through the airport. No, I'm from Nebraska (sarcasm here).

My point is this: you're not a fighter (and if you're a PhD candidate, you definitely can't fight).

By the way, I've met plenty of people in 30+ fights. They don't brag about it though. That's my point about you. You talk like you've been in so many fights, but people who talk can't fight for the most part.

  • @del1000005 lol I would just ignore the youtube shit talkers man they talk tough behind keyboards only, not in person...also I would like to point out some PHD candidates can fight, I'm workin on my JD and I got a purple belt

  • @youngthizz81 Ah, a JD huh? Don't become a lawyer. That's what I do, and it sucks lol.

  • @del1000005 oh really, u don't like it? just got out of a 4 hr civ pro final

  • @youngthizz81 Long hours the first few years. I don't mind it, but it will kill your social life early on.

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyDent84 They simply can't fight, and they lack any honor all the while thinking they can fight because they jumped some "white boy" with their "crew".I stick by what I said. If you were a "fighter", you wouldn't be on here bragging about it.

  • @TonyDent84 There's that original brain power. I knew you'd back down from an actual challenge. You respond with "kk herb". Just what I thought.

  • @TonyDent84 And who are you calling a "hood rat"? You're the one who can't spell properly or use proper grammar, and, yet, claim to be a "PhD candidate". However, we can settle your fighting skills quite simply. Message me on the private line, and we'll step into the cage and put an end to this. You're only about 45 minutes away. We'll test your "fighting skill" man to man tough guy. If you want, I'll even "sanction" the thing as an amateur MMA match to avoid any issues.

  • Comment removed

  • I swear to God, only weirdos talk to me online...this is my luck lmao...some kid that neva met me before actually believes he could evaluate my fighting experience from hundreds of miles away in nebraska!

  • Comment removed

  • @TonyDent84 I'll go a step further. If you win, I'll go on Youtube and kiss your proverbial ass over your "fighting skills". If you're up for it, and you want to step into the cage to settle our differences one on one, then we'll set it up at my place of training or at a neutral location. Your call tough guy.

  • @TonyDent84 Plus, you're a "Phd" candidate and the best you can do is call me a "herb". Way to use that brain power.

  • @del1000005 this del guy seems pretty legit usually youtube fights dont go out of youtube...

  • nice

  • BJJ stupid shit. Gracie suck ass

  • This is an AWESOME video that addresses REALITY (in reality, people do NOT straight reverse punch - they throw haymakers and are sloppy)... your response is NOT going to be by the numbers and connect the dots... I love this video, guys.

  • a dirty fighter will bite ur face if u get that close

  • I know a lot of people that have been in a lot of street fights, none of them throw the wild right hand. They usually just throw nothing but straight punches.

  • That's weird, because everyone I know throws wild punches, it gets on my fucking nerves

  • @iowaguitarshred Lol I guess it's different where I'm from, we've got a lot of black people, but they aren't the gang type, they usually fight 1-on-1 instead of in groups, and I think it rubbed off on the white people here to, because even some of the worst fighters I know would beat the shit out of a lot of people on youtube that fight.

  • Beleive it or not, i know most of iowa is all whites but I live in a city that's actually very diverse and live in a black neighborhood myself. I guess there's more of a mix among blacks out here though, you have the ones who are punk ass gangsters that swing all wildly but I have a lot of black friends who actually know what they're doing. I see your point though, but I was in a street fight a while ago (it was all for sport though) and almost all the younger kids threw wild punches

  • @iowaguitarshred No they don't swing wildy they punch straight, and there aren't really any gangs here either.

  • bull shit unless u hang with trained fighters

  • @THEPIELORD42 I don't. It's just most of the fights you see on youtube are between a lot of sucky people

  • I've seen a lot of fights, and I think there's a random mixture of the wild-ass punch and the straight punch. It depends a lot on whether or not the guy throwing the punch is drunk. There are a lot that throw that stupid haymaker, but EVERY drunk guy I've ever seen fight swings in a wide, predictable circle.

  • @LiNaK37 The move showed here still applies but you have to modify it. Instead of waiting for the punch you have to do some punching or kicking yourself enough to throw them off. When the opportunity comes then you can clinch. If the opportunity doesn't come then you keep punching or kicking or whatever works for you. Just because you throw a punch it doesn't mean it will land or score a knock out. The same applies to the takedown. It may not work ALL the time but, is in your arsenal.

  • he could have learned jiujitsu in japan, that may explain the lack of patch. :)

  • these are not from the Gracie family. The instructor doesn't have the Gracie patch on his Gi.

  • I train in Gracie jiujitsu also and not everyone at my location wears the official GB Gi. The majority of them do, but all I'm trying to say is that just because he's not wearing a gi doesn't mean that he's not affiliated with Gracie jiujitsu.

  • You guys should have your guards up while closing in for the clinch. You cannot have your head open for strikes, you'd get knocked out while trying to get the clinch. It's the only thing missing in this demo.

  • Great explanation thank you Expert Village!

  • Once I get my double under hooks in I would suplex his head on the concrete.. forget a sweep.

  • shut up about names please. the credit should go to judo, yes, but it doesnt really matter if they dont tell the judo name of it

  • important to remember not to get ur face caught when going for the second underhook..

  • Right hand punch? Why does Uki throw left punch? I wish people would use Normal judo or Sambo names for throws. Tani Otoshi not underhook takedown!

  • becouse theres people how dont know what does that means.. and its expertvillage they want to show everything as simply and clearly as possible.

  • Thats my point exactly. People "DONT know and they should be taught the names as well.

I agree its "Expert Village" however these are standards names for standard moves.

  • because jiu jitsu isnt judo nor sambo

  • true. but in Brazilian JJ they use Judo terminology and so should Expert Village. It is what it is.

  • while your taking him down, you can roll using your hips right into mount.....gracie jiu jitsu

  • if u wanna see this move done wrong watch rosi sexton .vs. windy tomomi OUCH!!!

  • this move is so dangerous, u can break the guys knee on the way down.

  • Judo was created as a way to practice Jujitsu which for a long time was banned for being to violent. Jigor Kano took out the striking and made it just a grappling art. Jujitsu in Japan and Brazilian Jujitsu share almost no similarities except the name. Jujitsu in japan is more a striking art now.

  • My Jujitsu club is traditional & we do ground work, strikes & throws & nerve holds with small joint locks like wrist locks, so maybe we are a link between the 3 arts you described.

I have done boxing & Jujitsu there are too many ineffective strikes in JJJ they where design for samuria with mail gloves on.

Boxing only has 6 punches & r effective.

BJJ introduced competition to JJ so we should learn from BJJ & Boxing to make JJJ a complete ma, if not like Aikido we will be only a training aid.

  • How can you say that dont share anything? The physics of traditional Jutsu "kentetsu waza" are all in BJJ. What makes bjj different from judo, and Jitsu. Is the survival skills added to the groundgame against a much bigger attacker or opponent. Survival = bjj

  • @Hector2028

    thank you.

  • Judo came from Jujitsu in japan.

Brazilain Jujitsu came from Judo taught by Mitsuyo Maeda to the four Gracies, Carlos, Helio ect.

It was developed over time and championed by Helio till the 90s when UFC was created as an advertisement for BJJ. Now BJJ has evolved into MMA which adds Muay thai, boxing, wrestling and basically anything that works in a real fight that does not break sanctioned Nevada sports regulations.

Research people, its not that hard.
