@asemyusef12 Cardio doesn't burn muscle unless you didn't ate for a week and your bodyfatpercentage is under 3 procent :-) what you should do is eat your first meal, drink half a liter water, wait for 30 minutes and then you are ok to do some cardio. 3 hours after your first meal it is time for the second meal :-)
Hey scooby! I've been following all of your videos and went from 186 at 5"10 to 186 at 5"10! Sounds awful when put that way but I have lost fat and gained muscle! My gf compliments me all the time now for my body. Thanks man!

@MethshockFilms that is a shit meal plan. you need more protein, less and better carbs, greater regularity and a calculation of how many calories you burn.

When I was 14, I weighed nearly 300lbs. Granted, I was 6'3" and held my weight well, I was pretty fat. I got sick of it so I lost a bunch of weight through intense cardio about two to three hours a day. In a little over a year I had lost 100lbs, and I've been that weight ever since (I'm 22 now). It's drove me crazy, and I even have that ugly loose skin. Will that go away without surgery? It's kind of depressing to work so hard and have that to deal with that (and stretch marks).

hey scooby! I watch your videos and I had one question. Can I get great results if I am a vegatarian?? That is what gets me. Since I am a vegetarian I won't get as much protein as for the people who do eat meat.
@iamthebesfromyou As a fellow vegetarian weightlifter, i can tell you protein powder is your friend! Milk, beans, cheese, nuts, etc are good sources of protein, but when it comes to adding 40 grams of protein into your daily intake without boosting the carbs or fat, protein powder is a lifesaver. I reccomend 100% whey protein, but some people digest different proteins differently, Try for yourself, and remember, protein drinks aren't a supplement, they are FOOD!
I have a question, if i work out and try monitoring my diet a bit, would my weight stay the same, cause im slowly losing fat and slowly gaining muscle, or is nothing happening?

But the results are amazing, I'm getting pumped so quick, and i'm not even on a diet and I don't consume any protein shakes. @bidefordrfc he doesn't have any videos. what you have to do is place a 20 or 10 kg weight on a piece of cloth on your forehead, lie down on your back and do controlled reps. you know, like sit ups with your neck. do the same with it on the back of your head and you facing the floor, and then lie on your side and use a lighter weight on the side f your head and tilt up towards your shoulder. about twenty reps is good, do sets of three i guess. get a good burn, but no neck bridges
That is possible, however it was moat likely the fact that I lost a lot of weight beforehand (I lost about 15 pounds (of muscle) and then put it back on) so I only put on about 10 "new" pounds and I was also doing lots of diverse exercise. (running 4 miles a day, bicycling 3 & 1/2 hours a day, doing about 750 push ups (75 reps 10 times) doing crunchs/sit-ups (150 max reps) curls (100 reps with 15 pounds) bench pressing, squats, etc. And lots of food, but I gained no fat.
SCOOBY what's your take on the Bowflex (resistance rods)? I have the ultimate 2 which I bought used for a good price. It has just about everything on it including a squat attachment and leg machine but I also have free weights (Dumbbells, barbell, EZ curl bar as well as a free weight leg machine). I see a lot of mixed opinions. I would guess free weights are better than anything but I would like to know how much better and if the Bowflex is worth using to build muscle. Thanks.

Hey Scooby, im 12 years old and i have around 6 months until my next wrestling season. Right now, im 127lbs. Im looking to get back down to 119lbs, also im looking to get A LOT stronger between now and next season. I workout 6 days a week and for about a hour to a hour and a half on the days i workout. I have gained a little muscle over the last month or so, but i haven't gotten stronger at all. I was wondering if you had any tips for me. Thanks man.
I must say that I can't decide myself about one story or another for voting. What are the criteria? Results were not achieved within the same period of time, people are not the same age, they may not have been able to be as strict about nutrition as required or did not have enough time for a consistent training, and so on. Someone here says that he began training at 51, while apparently a (large) majority of your followers began at age 13-20.
Scooby you are a generous man...the internet is full of crap, people selling 'secrets' to get the perfect body...you give it away free..that is unique this day and age!. I turn 51in 2 weeks and am just starting your advanced intermediate workout...bit late for me to get any real gains but it'll help keep me in shape!
Just so you know, I injured myself while jogging, not overlifting or anything.
When I gained that muscle, I was NOT using weights, however I was doing lots of jogging, push ups, pull ups, squats, climbing, sprints, and eating well.
Scooby, I just wanted to say that I disagree with what you said in your April Fools video, saying it's impossible to gain 40 pounds in 6 months. When I started working out I gained 25 pounds in two and a half months, and continued steadily gaining muscle until in injured myself and had to stop.

Recently I've been doing chair dips at the gym with stands made for dip purposes and it hurts my left side shoulder when I do them. Hi Scooby, I want to ask your opinion on a book I am reading - the four hour body by Tim Ferriss. I generally subscribe to your school of thought when it comes to weight training - effort and consistency over fast unrealistic gains, however this book offers very interesting insights into quick muscle growth and quick fat loss (amongst other things) using the principle of minimum effective dose - the author is very scientific in his approach documenting 15kg gain, 28 days, 8 hours exercise
Hello scooby I have a question. On your website, at the workout plan categories, it says "Weights: 45 - 70 minutes" What do you mean by this? That you have to train 45-70 minutes, right? Please respond.

For those who submitted pictures for the success stories contest but didnt get featured, dont take it personal! In every case I can think of, I didnt publish the story because one of the rules for submission was not followed. Every set of before/after photos was fabulous.
Too bad I didn't saved a photo from before I started exercising, and my body is very diferent now. I've been following you videos and "training" for like 8 months, and my body changed a lot already. I just realized few days ago that I would like to see how I was before.

I didn't 100% dedicate myself to scooby's diet, but i started workout in a totally diffrent way, and replaced my junk food with vegetables and good nutrition, and i saw god results right away,

@bidefordrfc he doesn't have any videos. what you have to do is place a 20 or 10 kg weight on a piece of cloth on your forehead, lie down on your back and do controlled reps. you know, like sit ups with your neck. do the same with it on the back of your head and you facing the floor, and then lie on your side and use a lighter weight on the side f your head and tilt up towards your shoulder. about twenty reps is good, do sets of three i guess. get a good burn, but no neck bridges

That is possible, however it was moat likely the fact that I lost a lot of weight beforehand (I lost about 15 pounds (of muscle) and then put it back on) so I only put on about 10 "new" pounds and I was also doing lots of diverse exercise. (running 4 miles a day, bicycling 3 & 1/2 hours a day, doing about 750 push ups (75 reps 10 times) doing crunchs/sit-ups (150 max reps) curls (100 reps with 15 pounds) bench pressing, squats, etc. And lots of food, but I gained no fat.

SCOOBY what's your take on the Bowflex (resistance rods)? I have the ultimate 2 which I bought used for a good price. It has just about everything on it including a squat attachment and leg machine but I also have free weights (Dumbbells, barbell, EZ curl bar as well as a free weight leg machine). I see a lot of mixed opinions. I would guess free weights are better than anything but I would like to know how much better and if the Bowflex is worth using to build muscle. Thanks.

scooby i have a really important question for you because i really need help on this one. i m 18 years old and i have been eating fats all my life without actually getting any fat at my body, i just keep being slim. i have gain some muscles of working out but i m still skinny and its been nearly a year, i have check out your video "Bulking Up And Gaining Muscle" but i m not hopping it works, i used to eat junk all day long and keep looking like if i only eated once a day ´-.-

Hi, just came across your channel and subbed. Im a 22 year old male, im 158 cm tall and weigh 98 kg. (218 lb). Im not muscular, so a BMI of 39.67 is a warning. Hey Scooby, im 12 years old and i have around 6 months until my next wrestling season. Right now, im 127lbs. Im looking to get back down to 119lbs, also im looking to get A LOT stronger between now and next season. I workout 6 days a week and for about a hour to a hour and a half on the days i workout. I have gained a little muscle over the last month or so, but i haven't gotten stronger at all. I was wondering if you had any tips for me. Thanks man.

I must say that I can't decide myself about one story or another for voting. What are the criteria? Results were not achieved within the same period of time, people are not the same age, they may not have been able to be as strict about nutrition as required or did not have enough time for a consistent training, and so on. Someone here says that he began training at 51, while apparently a (large) majority of your followers began at age 13-20.

I turn 51in 2 weeks and am just starting your advanced intermediate workout...bit late for me to get any real gains but it'll help keep me in shape!

Just so you know, I injured myself while jogging, not overlifting or anything.
When I gained that muscle, I was NOT using weights, however I was doing lots of jogging, push ups, pull ups, squats, climbing, sprints, and eating well.

Scooby, I just wanted to say that I disagree with what you said in your April Fools video, saying it's impossible to gain 40 pounds in 6 months. When I started working out I gained 25 pounds in two and a half months, and continued steadily gaining muscle until in injured myself and had to stop.

hello Scooby. I dont know if you will answer. What are the most common weight training exercises that can cause or worsen shoulder pain for some people? Recently I've been doing chair dips at the gym with stands made for dip purposes and it hurts my left side shoulder when I do them. I dont know wether if the chair dips is the main cause or if its some other exercise that triggered my shoulder pain iniatialy and that doing dips is just worsening it. please help!

Hi Scooby, I want to ask your opinion on a book I am reading - the four hour body by Tim Ferriss. I generally subscribe to your school of thought when it comes to weight training - effort and consistency over fast unrealistic gains, however this book offers very interesting insights into quick muscle growth and quick fat loss (amongst other things) using the principle of minimum effective dose - the author is very scientific in his approach documenting 15kg gain, 28 days, 8 hours exercise

Too bad I didn't saved a photo from before I started exercising, and my body is very diferent now. I've been following you videos and "training" for like 8 months, and my body changed a lot already. I just realized few days ago that I would like to see how I was before.
