My judo teacher, Vince Tamura, is much like him, and I can see what he's saying, especially when he's talking about the hands. Very much the same as Sensei Tamura. All classical Japanese martial arts have the same principles.
Fascinating. I practice HEMA and I can see parallels between what he is doing and what we have interpreted from the text of the old European masters. I only wish there had been English subtitles. I really would like to know what he was saying.

@Proton1 it's because he doesn't want broken hands, they're using fukuroshinai without guards, but they are still hard enough to break bones.
