  • yep, that little air cleaner will catch fire quicker than the blink of an eye.

  • @aknowneemus

use to had a 78 caprice with a 406 in it, same air filter thing and never once had a problem with it

  • i know that a lot of people like that air cleane,r but i bought one cuz it was cheap and looked cool, but it sucks!!! it lets to much trash in your carb and if it backfires that foam cleaner is history.

  • ok now i remember last time i clean and change the dominator´s kit was two years ago

  • Hey there guis29, I have a 750 cfm dominator in the garage my brother purchased for me, but i never bolted it on because i thought it was for just racing purposes. I'm just wondering if it can also be nice for a street car? i don't drive my car much, just wondering.

  • Btw i have a 406 sbc 10 to 1 compression, working my way for a 427 sbc in the near future

  • previously i have the legendary 7749 Holley, i was worried when i bolted the dominator and believe me the stock 350 engine work very well with this carb i only change the primary nozzle

  • Awesome! thanks for the help bro. much appreciated! btw, the Dominators look amazing under te hood. =)

  • im curious about your intake manifold & transmission combo....

i remember back when it was suggested to run a single plane manifold with a manual trans, and a duel plane manifold with a auto-trans.

yet, as of late do to better stronger trannys i see guys running high rise single manifolds w/ auto's

  • dual plane work better with mild cams and for fuel economy and streetability, but if you have more agresive cam and you dont care about streetability go with single plane. My car have TH350 and the converter is 3000 rpm stall, to match with the 304 cam, is 100% streetable after some little modifications i maded

  • get a nice set of dart pro 1s . 11 to 1. and a solid roller comp cam and listen to 550 HP : )

  • Youre gonna need more than those 993 heads to make 400hp with that thing. Those Goodwrench motors are only 8.0-8.5:1 anyway. Too much cam for that compression

  • i dont have 993 heads, i have copper head gasket& edelbrock performer RPM cylinder heads, the compression with edelbrock performer rpm cam & edelbrock performer rpm cylinder heads measured at idling was 10.1:1, with this combination of parts the power was 400 HP, now i have isky cam with more duration and compression is low but at low speed

  • that looks like my buddys old air cleaner on his old caprice. his belched out a big fireball and burnt up the air filter and we ran it for a while without one. there actually wasnt room under there for an air cleaner anyway.

  • That thing sounds bad-ass!

  • whats the horsepower on it?

  • when the engine was new ( 7 years ago)i estimated 400 hp, now i dont have more than 300 - 250 hp,

  • sounds great,whats the specs?

  • specs:gm goodwrench crate engine, 305 isky megahydraulic cam, anti-pump isky lifter, 750 holley dominator, flow master super 40, please wait for part.2 video
