I recently had a stroke and could have really used this information before being released. I am often sad and prefer to be isolated. I do not have a support unit which impeded my recovery. I realized how important that can be when a friend stayed with me for a few days to get just fundamental things accomplished. I immediately saw how I would have remained depressed, unmotivated and my recovery been more delayed without the simple, yet critical (for me) act of support and encouragement.

My granddaughter, Kylie,(in utero stroke victim) has laughing outbursts! I never knew this!
