@knotdrummer88 The single 18 was in a dinky small 4.4 cubic ft box and the port was on the part of the box against my back seats firing into my car. And DUDE u can fit 2 18s in a marquis trunk np 18 would be a breeze to put it

@knotdrummer88 O ya wen i first got into speakers my dad wouldnt even let me get the 30 dollar dynex from bestbuy but as time went on he opened up and let me spend my money. I actually put this system together while i was 16. It was my money so they just said dont do anything stupid with it since they knew this was my hobby they didnt mind. The single btl hit pretty hard and low could set off car alarms np and could flex the soft top convertables at school. Rattle other peoples car too :)

please help me out i dont understand. u have 2 18s and theire bumping hard, u have 2 amps which draw a lot of power. now i know u have a big batt but a batt can only put out as much power as the alt produces right? and that is a small car with a small alt. my grand prix has a bigger alt but my headlights dim bad with 1 18 at 500 watts rms! do i need to do the big three or get a deep cycle batt?

Ya im only running an 80 amp stock alt i think is wat it is. And as far as wat the battery produces i dunno. But that kinetic hc2400 made all the difference. If u check out my newest vids of the crv. That battery isnt even hooked up to the alt its just straight to the amp and it slams.

1st off What kinda vehicle is it going in?

2) Walls, if done correctly, are used to decrease the overall cabin volume (its completely sealed off therefore you basically have the woofers right behind you creating a smaller amount of space, and allows you to maximize enclosure volume if needed.

Also, to get more technical if you like...again with the smaller cabin (Cabin basically means the total volume of free air in the vehicle) in a wall as opposed to a basic box. Lets say you have 2 systems for an suv, both with the exact same 2 subs and same cubic volume enclosure. 1 is a basic box other is the wall. U may not be able to reach what is called cabin gain with it in a basic box. But with a wall its smaller and you may be able to. Cabin gain acts like another port. = louder & tunable

yea i used to have a bxi 2000 the 06 model and even tho it says it has a max power of 2000watts,, its birthsheet was only actually 1400watts rms clean power...maybe the newer ones are a lil more efficient but yea regardless tha amps arent gettin the power so the subs def arent'
