I'm an Indian i tried to balance this shyt for almost an hour...it just doesn't stay balanced ...People are willing to pay for a better system so make it better price it well dammit ...
@televoice you have no idea what you are talking about... first of all its a glidecam, second, its really good... imagine this rough way without a steadi!!!
It obviously eliminates the shaking. That's what this price range rig is for, in my opinion. Obviously it's up to the operator to learn to stay horizontal and such. The Flycam helps you with that. But, it's not a multi-thousand $ rig.
I didn't have to remake ANYTHING with my Flycam 5000 ... just take the time to balance and adjust it as well as I could initially. After that initial setup, it takes me only a few minutes to go from assembly to filming. It takes 30 secs to get it off my body.
you have to remake the hole rig to make it work, new springs and wire to the arm, Remake the Gimbal, new yoke, remake the vest etc. to make it fly. I have done all that and now it flies like a dream, sooo smooth.
At 1:09 the steadicam arm hits the rocks behind the guy taking pictures. You can barely see the cam shake briefly and hear the metal on the steadicam arm scrape the rocks on the moutain side. OUCH!
Dont blame the rig blame the operator i seen many smooth flycam vids this is just one of the bad ones

Terribe footage even for a Flycam. Invest in a real rig if you want real steadicam footage.

That was bad. Looked like handheld camera :( flying all over the place

@zoorg they remove vibrations. steadycams do not cancel out movement. they make jumpy movement smooth.

It feels like the camera is floating or like as if it was attached to a helicopter.
