Greg's scene was a little over the top, but the guy is in pain and he is blaming himself for what happened to Shaun, so I can't help but sympathize with Greg. It's sad to say but the writer's are using Shaun's coma to prop Greg and Rachel.

I'm just not feeling John and Marty, and the love scene wasn't believable at all. I think the writer's should have kept the other actress that played Marty around. Why did they fire her?? John's best love scenes have always been with Evangeline. I wish Evangeline would come back and get back together with John. I have always been a JOVAN fan. I'm not complaining about the songs themselves, but I HATE when they play songs over montages at the end of the show. It's a gimmick started by Jill Ferret Phelps when she was exec producer and it reeks of lazy writing. The writers are lazy enough as it is without trying to tell a story by using someone else's lyrics.

I know that most people agree with you, otherwise they probably wouldn't do it.  But as I said, I think it's a lazy copout instead of writing riveting final scenes. Plus, they never give the bands or singers credit, which defeats the purpose of the artists allowing them to use their songs for promotional reasons. Anyway, I'm used to being in the minority with my opinions!

I also agree Greg was way over the top but in real life (which this isn't) I think it may have been an ethics problem him performing such invasive surgery on his own brother...too much can go wrong and a close family member can't be objective about what went wrong. I have started to like him as an actor even though today was a bit much.
