Too Bad Swano aint in the band anymore ...he wrote most of Resurrection Through Carnage .. Mikael and Swano are the Death Metal duo from hell ..if only Nicke Andersson would leave the Hellacopters and make a band with Mikael and Swano , now that would be the best DM band ever

uhm... not so much. Swano owns a record store and studio in Sweden... cant really tour... Blakkheim wanted to make Bloodbath a 'real' band instead of strictly a side project and studio band. In the press release Blakkheim did state he thought Swano was trying to... ah what was his words... 'pussy-fy' Bloodbath, but he later took those comments back if i recall once Swano called him out about it on the Bloodbath forums.

Bloodbath is by far the best deathmetal band ever!!! Arguements about death metal being thrash metal with growling vocals...i dont give a shit!!! When i listen to Resurrection thru Carnage or Nightmares into Flesh and it gives me the adrenaline to rip a motherfuckers headoff...I could care less from where it spawned!!!

Sorry buddy... but a lot of the Drumming is Thrash.. and DeathMetal usually means the Singer just goes really deep. The singer is what makes the band Death.

To bad the singer that did Nightmares Made Flesh left the band.. : / He was the best singer for them so far.

Not all the Death Metal bands need deep growler... Death in "The sound of perseverance" it was only high pitches!!!!...

And the vocalist of Bloodbath is Mike Åkerdfelt (Opeth)... believe he can growl very deep... The other vocalist was Peter Tågtgren (Hypocrisy, Lock Up, Pain) another good "Death Metal" vocalist... Bloodbath was created as a tribute to the Old School Swedish Death Metal! (Entombed/Dismember/Grave/Unle­ashed).

lol i always laugh when i see akerfeldt in bloodbath, i guess because the only movement im used to seeing from him is headbanging lol
