Wifi is terrible for online gaming anyway, a friend of mine used to use wifi to play his PS3, he would often get disconnected from games/lag, now he no longer uses wifi and everything works much better, and even if xbox live costs money, it is a better/equal service, it is pretty cheap, $45 for 13 months so pretty much a year, also the new price drop makes the console cheaper than a wii with a free year of xbl added, games are cheaper too
not really, i played it at my cousin's house, KZ 2 is like Crysis, all graphics and no gameplay, resistance is pretty good, and LBP is pretty good but assuming you play LBP, R1 and R2, 3 games isn't worth buying a console, all the extra features of PS3 aren't necessary, a video game console is for VIDEO GAMES, not multimedia or that bs, if you get the yellow rings there isnt much warranty on it like the 360's RROD, it's not a bad console but the 360 is worth the money imo
Well I am not familiar with this update, what is so damn great about it? The PS3 has no redeeming features, backwards compatibility was awesome since i have many ps2 games but that was taken out, linux is now taken out, the games arent that great either except for LBP that is awesome, FF13 would be a reason to buy the console but thats on 360 now, no games on it are worth buying the console and now a 360 can cost as low as $200, also the ps3 is a pretty bad blu ray player
That story is EXTREMELY old and the chances of that happening are probably under 1 percent. The 360 is the better online gaming console and there is no doubt about it, better action games/more players, the only annoying thing is you have to pay for xbox live, but it is 45 dollars a year, not that expensive. Well that game was repetitive, and offered hardly any variety at all I believe Ubisoft even admitted it themselves in AC2 demos. The game was okay but the weapon upgrades were kinda redundant after the 5th time they could have put so much more, like what happened to the crossbow in the trailer.
gears 2 has been out for a not even a year and has had 3 title updates. that is so sad. they cant figure out the ranking system and Epic wont deal with people who hack the game, theres no consequences for hacking so people will keep doing it. i have the game and i hate it. in my eyes gears of war 1 was ten times better than this piece of shit they call a game.

Dude Microsoft is the main reason gears had so many problems, Microsoft pressured epic into releasing the game for the holiday season regardless of how much problems the multiplayer had as long as the campaign was finished. The game is awesome and so is the online play. It rarely gets laggy, but if it does, it's probably because of the host's crappy connection(happened to me today and the host said his connection was bad)

The only thing gears 2 does wrong is the matchmaking shit wich takes too long (hopefully we get a patch soon) but the rest is done good.
Multiplayer is good, it has many game modes and can be played on many ways, like with system link you can plug 2 xbox 360's together and have fun with your friends.
The lancer is not overpowered and the shotgun is just not as overpowered as it used too be, GET USED TOO IT!

Well that game was repetitive, and offered hardly any variety at all I believe Ubisoft even admitted it themselves in AC2 demos. The game was okay but the weapon upgrades were kinda redundant after the 5th time they could have put so much more, like what happened to the crossbow in the trailer.

Dude Microsoft is the main reason gears had so many problems, Microsoft pressured epic into releasing the game for the holiday season regardless of how much problems the multiplayer had as long as the campaign was finished. Personally I think Epic have done a good job on trying to constantly update the game and with this latest update its a lot better, but mainly its Microsoft's fault.

The game is awesome and so is the online play. It rarely gets laggy, but if it does, it's probably because of the host's crappy connection(happened to me today and the host said his connection was bad)
Very nice video, the new dashboard is awesome and so is gears of war 2. Highly recommend it.

The only thing gears 2 does wrong is the matchmaking shit wich takes too long (hopefully we get a patch soon) but the rest is done good.
Multiplayer is good, it has many game modes and can be played on many ways, like with system link you can plug 2 xbox 360's together and have fun with your friends.
The lancer is not overpowered and the shotgun is just not as overpowered as it used too be, GET USED TOO IT!
oh and THIS video sucks not gears 2.

If you were a hardcore fan of gears 1 then u should purchase gears 2, but he is right the campaign is awesome and horde mode is fun. but when it comes to online gameplay it sucks my cock, the shotgun is horrible and since online is based on mainly a server it always lags, but the worst thing of this god awful mess is the new matchmaking system, it takes a really long time just to find one game, it could take up to 40 minutes sometimes to find a game, but if u liked the first get the secound

If you want my advice buy it just for the single player and horde. There great. The Online deathmatch etc in my opinion made it easier for the less hardcore players like me who are really good with the shotgun so they've tipped the balance for the more inexperienced players.
