  • damn thats a beast

  • i saw one of these dark black , its whole body was black

  • this chopper is beautiful i love it

  • Dies ist genial!

  • I was in HM15 from 95 to 99, we did the move from Alameda to Corpus Christi

  • i miss seeing these in corpus.

  • @ccaddaddy when we moved to Corpus we'd get complaints almost daily.. "They are too loud" "Why is it hovering over my house?" etc...

  • Whats armament?

  • @Vykuk123 Google is very good to help answer your questions!

    ar·ma·ment/ˈärməmənt/Noun

    1. Military weapons and equipment: "chemical weapons and other unconventional armaments".

    2. The process of equipping military forces for war

  • @Vykuk123 Mostly this helo doesnt carry armament. Its specific mission is to sweep for mines. Its main weapon in that regard is a big towed sled that it pulls from the air to sweep mines. It can and does carry 2 door guns and a ramp gun from time to time that Ive seen. Usually M240s on the door and a .50 on the ramp.

  • big fatty... :) i like it!!

  • im only watching this video cuz theres a giant pave low above were i live

  • This is so cool, this is my old squadron.I was a PR in HM-15 from 1990-1993. this made my day seeing this video thanks for putting it on here.

  • @RICEN325 Well your comment made my day Shipmate! Thanks for the post and I am glad you liked this!

  • is this a marine or a navy chopper? looks sweet.

  • @diviengi Both.

  • @diviengi Well this particular aircraft is a Navy helicopter.

  • @diviengi The helicopter is usually navy, but in some cases, it transports marines.

  • @ringer454 thanks for sharing your info. it looks so sweet.

  • @diviengi Navy. MH-53E. The Marines fly the CH-53E.

  • 80,000 lbs hoovering in mid air, isn't science grand?

  • @ithicaplasma itss obviously not 80k lbs, its made of solid titananium, which means its increbily light and impurvisus to all rocket or light ammunition attack. it is armed with 1 nuclear weapons, and 6 300mm cannons. on the front it has 2 miniture 1mm cannons that the driver can control. they have incredible fire rate, at about 3 rounds a minute. learn your facts before u comment idiot.

  • @ninjarishere What are you 12? It has a maximum takeoff weight of 73,500lbs and like most aircraft is mostly aluminum not Titanium. Im just an aerospace engineer so what do I know.

  • @ninjarishere not the 53's i worked on . the only armer they had was Kevlar seats for the pilot/copilot and a 50 cal at the gunners door . i dont think any of the 53's in our (american ) fleet have any more defensive weapons definitely no nuclear weapons . i think you got your aircrafts mixed up.

  • @billjessica1234 nope... its a conspiracy! the ogverment made stuff happen and stuff

  • ya well i miss the old days in iraq... fun getting dropped off a blackhawk while its flying

  • Oh how I miss those days of flying!

  • good video------thank

  • This aircraft is going to be the death of me someday lol. too much maintenance work. Dailies....turn arounds....Just FCF'ed two birds today. 14 hours :( a lot of fun to fly in though.

  • @Taka014 thats funny ! if i had a buck for every minute i waited on the flight line for one bird or another to be recovered so i could go home . for every bird i worked overnight to service and be up and ready for the flight schedule only for it need servicing cuz it sat for 2 hours leaking . every lump on my head from the ch-53 tow boom . for every mouthful of JP-5 fuel i swallowed doin fuel samples . and every bird wash i got stuck on ! holy crap ! i shoulda stayed in ! i miss all my shipmates

  • wahiawa! ho all the way from kaneohe wassup!

  • Any of you guys around the Gulf in 2003? I was on RFA Sir Galahad and went into Umm Qasr in Iraq and saw the dolphins getting flown out by these bad boys...

  • Crew Chief a Tough Labor Job thinking about being a Grunt in the Army or Navy! I

  • Good luck! Infantry can be very rewarding as well.

  • I was a CH-47 Chinook crewchief for 5 years. The CH-53 is indeed an awesome aircraft. Very good footage.

  • fucking monster helicopter

  • @MagicBeans403 Fucking beast monster helicopter, my mom worked with the Black Stallions for about a year, before they decomissioned, These are some badass helicopters.

  • what ship is that?

  • maybe destroyer /chopper carrier or assault ship

  • im thinking an assault ship or chopper carrier because thats a big flight deck. destroyer flight decks are small

  • LHD probably.

  • u live in wahiawa?

  • big hellie

  • なんでいちいち音楽つけるわけ?うるさだけなんだけど。

  • ???

  • false

blackout was a MH-53J Pave Low III

but all the H-53 are big bastards so blackout should be the boss of decepticons

  • just wanted to say great video. i used to be attached to HM-14 outta Norfolk 1996-1999, miss it alot.

  • wahiawabriank,

Thanks. I used to fly in the MH model and of course had to comment. Spent some time in Bahrain too.

    Thanks for the video post.

  • The MH-53E is classified as a Sea Dragon.

  • The one in this video I take bake. It is a MH-53 as I stated in the description of the film. The one in Transformers is a CH-53...

However they are both the same in size as that is what I was contesting.

The MH-53 is the navy's version for long range Mine hunting, there are electronic differences but that is about it. Size is not.

    CH=Super Stallion

    MH=Sea Dragon

  • Clarification: Mine Helicopter MH-53E "Sea Dragon", Cargo Helicopter CH-53 "Super Stallion". The MH-53E has very large sponsons because it moves across the water pulling a sled for extended amount of time and at a slow speed.

  • I miss HM-15

  • @wahiawabriank The one in Transformers was an Air Force MH-53 Pave Low IIIE. It was retired in 2008

  • what are the side extensions for

are they MAD detectors, i always wondered

  • Dude, they are sponsons for fuel. I don't think I have ever seen an MH configured for ASW.

  • They are mirrors for to see the sled it pulls through the water.

  • haha? very funny?

  • Marktimmer2212 seriously they are mirrors. I am an ex-NAVAL AIR guy and I worked next to a squadron in Norfolk, VA called Helicopter Mine Countermeasures Squadron TWELVE (HM-12) in the '90s. The helicopter pulls a sled in the water and it has mine detector equipment on it.

  • Transformers had a CH53. Smaller sponsons.

  • The CH-53 that was in the movie transfromers was a super stallion and the one depicted in this movie is also a super stallion. They are both the same.

  • that helicopter kicks ass

  • Hell yeah, it also is the same as the one in Tansformers!!!

  • don't forget that you are in Persian Gulf . . .

  • hes in arabian gulf mother fucker

  • what song is that?

  • FOO FIGHTERS - LEARN TO FLY

  • THANKYOU, i love it

  • wish i had one:(

  • Nice Video! It's great to show my kids an action shot of what I flew when I was in HM-15, back when we were in Alameda! Got any more?

  • Just tell them you flew Blackout from Transformers! That will earn you massive respect! Check it out if you haven't seen it.

  • I was in HM-15 until 2004 thanks for posting this vid I was able to show some guys I work with what I flew in while I was in.

  • Your welcome. Those things are nuts, I got to fly on one leaving my ship transferring out, that was cool...

  • damn thats one big bastard!

  • When will it transform into Blackout.

  • HM-14's better at what, nose-up landings?

  • HM-14's better at what, nose-up landings?

  • HC-4 is the best, though. HM-14 and HM-15 can tow their MCM sleds, we'll hold it up on the front-lines with the heavy Combat Support. ;p

  • HM-14's better

  • Better at what, nose-up landings?

  • its all about the FOUR!!! GO BLACK STALLIONS!!!

i know they got decomed but sSicily was the shit!!

  • It's cool!
