But I do not sense that Lucas is likely to be killed off or that Edwin will rush into the arms of another. However, it is quite true that we have seen what amounts to a murderous tidal wave sweep through European soaps, terminating all the other interesting, attractive gay (male) couples and their compelling storylines. "Nether" as Holland is, let's hope it's spared...

@woooowoooooo It's a soap opera. They usually don't revolve around a group of happy people. And GTST has nothing to do with those other shows. Lucas is in a coma. About 5 other (straight) characters were also injured. One of them died. One of them is going to Toronto to recover. Lucas is not going to die.

I figure they would kill Jackson.....that SL was very disjointed, I dont think they stood a chance. But as for Chrolli......good things will be happening soon :). @hugtend I totally agree with you about our gay actors and gay roles either ebing killed off or ended in a tragic way or they are taken off the series by going away somewhere ot they are to replaced by a lesbian couple or visa versa in any series with our gay roles in them. I also agree with you about Mark as well he is so Awesome to keeping the world in touch with this series since i found it I fell in love with this show i hope also it dont end up like the other let down shows with gay in them

Anton and Bianca are doing the right thing Edwin needs to adjust his old life around Lucas' coma otherwise if things are bad when he wakes up it will be less crushing for Edwin then if he had spent every waking hour at his bedside. But I truly believe Anton is not using this to break Edwin and Lucas up he is looking out for his son's education and welfare.

The notion that edwin can suddenly go back to school is insulting. The hint of a future story line, that Lucas might be different or changed is telling (in soap lingo), but, it is too soon after the shooting for edwin to let go of his loved one. If it were my man, I'd stay w/ him no matter what. Good for you Ed! (meaning the writers) It's the only true response if you love someone.

@corvus13 I suspect that some people hit dislike/thumbs down whenever they don't like what's going on in the storyline. I thought it was a strange approach until I considered that lots of us are more likely to hit like/thumbs up when we like what's going on in the storyline. For example, compare the likes on this clip to those on Part 188 or 194. It's not actually a reflection of the channel/video quality etc.
I love that Edwin can be so honest about his feelings for Lucas with his parents. Bianca and Anton just want to make sure he takes care of himself and focuses on other things so he doesn't make himself crazy with negative thoughts. I think Anton is getting more and more concerned that Lucas hasn't woken up yet, so he's trying to prepare Ed for the possibility that he might never...
I smell a messed up twist coming... Watch Lucas wakes up not knowing who Edwin is, or back in love with Noud, or straight, or convinced that he's the only real human alive and everything and everyone in this world are figments of his imagination... I...N...C...E...P...T...I...O...N... o_O

I don't know where all the homophobia talk is coming from, but I don't see that as the case at all. Anton is speaking to Edwin as both a doctor and a father. He's absolutely right too. Edwin needs to live his daily life, and he can still visit Lucas, but it shouldn't be what he does all day, everyday. Its not helping him or Lucas. I also love that Anton told him the reality of the situation, because there is a chance that Lucas will be not be the same when/if he wakes up.
@Spherical07 I just think Edwin was stessed out, angry, and needed someone to lash out at because of that anger. I also think Anton understands that, which is why he didn't press the subject of homophobia.

i really hope lucas doesn't lose his memory and wake up not knowing who edwin is, i don't think i can stomach it, after watching something like it with luke and noah and its too soon for them to be unhappy anyway, can they be happy for awhile before you f**ck things up, like most soap operas do, especially when it comes to gay couples

omg-all they ever do is nag poor Edwin! Lucas has been in a coma for a short while-not years! Let Edwin be with him as he is in grief and needs to be with him. Anton and Bianca are doing the right thing Edwin needs to adjust his old life around Lucas' coma otherwise if things are bad when he wakes up it will be less crushing for Edwin then if he had spent every waking hour at his bedside. But I truly believe Anton is not using this to break Edwin and Lucas up he is looking out for his son's education and welfare.

The notion that edwin can suddenly go back to school is insulting. The hint of a future story line, that Lucas might be different or changed is telling (in soap lingo), but, it is too soon after the shooting for edwin to let go of his loved one. If it were my man, I'd stay w/ him no matter what. Good for you Ed! (meaning the writers) It's the only true response if you love someone.

Oh Edwin! But I agree with both him and Anton. I understand how it's pretty impossible to tear himself away and be able to focus or even think about anything else, but he's got to try to just breathe and love Lucas a bit more sensibly, because a coma could really last.

@corvus13 I suspect that some people hit dislike/thumbs down whenever they don't like what's going on in the storyline. I thought it was a strange approach until I considered that lots of us are more likely to hit like/thumbs up when we like what's going on in the storyline. For example, compare the likes on this clip to those on Part 188 or 194. It's not actually a reflection of the channel/video quality etc.

I love that Edwin can be so honest about his feelings for Lucas with his parents. Bianca and Anton just want to make sure he takes care of himself and focuses on other things so he doesn't make himself crazy with negative thoughts. I think Anton is getting more and more concerned that Lucas hasn't woken up yet, so he's trying to prepare Ed for the possibility that he might never...

@MadMaxxieXD He needs to love Noud again. He really does. For all the reasons you said, but also because it would totally be a throwback to what Noud himself went through last season, and he'd understand and try to be gracious and helpful to Lucas, and maybe... fall a little in love himself!
And Nina would turn into her usual possessive jealous bitch self towards anyone sniffing around her man, but she'd have to feel guilty cuz it's her sick brother. And Edwin would despair even worse...

I don't know where all the homophobia talk is coming from, but I don't see that as the case at all. Anton is speaking to Edwin as both a doctor and a father. He's absolutely right too. Edwin needs to live his daily life, and he can still visit Lucas, but it shouldn't be what he does all day, everyday. Its not helping him or Lucas. I also love that Anton told him the reality of the situation, because there is a chance that Lucas will be not be the same when/if he wakes up.
