  • Your on the wrong side!!!!

  • @BTCRAIL101FILMS

Actually under the circumstances for one I think I was on the right side. Usually when I see a meet the near train is an autorack which totally hides the other train. This time the autorack was on the far track even though it was stopped.

  • where is this at

  • @bhellmer2005 This is in Riverdale Park MD, just outside Washington DC

  • @bubba2781Beautiful video Compliments! And you know that to me I like so much America. I am Italian however I also like to write the words in American and to speak to us through the computer. Great bubba2781! This is a beautiful video because the station is beautiful and also the passing of the two trains commodities is very beautiful! You know that it is rare to see some passing of trains commodities on a line of two platforms!Graces and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Be Happy holidays!

  • @ETR500FR

Thank you. I am glad you enjoy the video's.

  • @bubba2781Thanks to you Great Myth!

  • Do you know why there was so much more ballast than usual there? Was there track work going on?

  • @bnsfMAN93 Thats normal for that area. No work was going on and as far as I know there was no new ballast at that time.

  • @bubba2781 Is that area where the ballast it higher in a low part of the tracks? Is there often flooding near there? The only other thing that I can think of is that the extra ballast would help drain more water away, but I really can't tell you for sure

  • Do trains that get a stop signal there stop before the crossing? It looks like it.

  • The usually stop under the bridge just beyond the MARC station. The gates will come down but then go back up when it stops.
