nop it's not because of the accent.phil just told petter the next corner too fast while he was still 2 corners before it.with the pressure and that speed it's normal to haven't heard it that's why he asked for it again..
@000a3 its too much so i will just give you a sample from 0.04 to 0.24: 6 right plus opens 80 4 right tight & cut 3 into 4 left plus 1 long 3 right plus long tightens 1 plus and 4 left opens 60 6 right opens long as you can notice Petter and Phil used to use the numbering for the ratio of the curve as well as to show the distance without a curve(60-80etc) with words like "opens" "long" "tightens" show how the length and the witdh of the road changes while still inside the curve...
So nice to see Petter back near the top again. He was a good driver and it was a shame to see all that bad luck over the years with Subaru. He never gave up, not even now that Subaru sadly left the WRC. Now it pays off. I hope he gets rid of the active diffs soon to end that discussion once and for all time.
Loeb in flying on tarmac. But Peter in very competitive in gravel. Thats what happened in Cyprus where in leg 1 (tarmac) loeb was 2.30min away, but at the other two legs(gravel) Peter closed up some 40 sec distance
Yeah , I know that when things went wrong , the tension between petter and the team was thick . I can see why it ended . The news of him being a pravateer is very encouraging . I hope the WRC can get a TV deal stateside , and soon .
hi guys, i wonder if it's only citroën and ford left in wrc? cause when i watched tv yesterday i only see stobart ford, munchis ford, citroen total, and two other citroen teams. what happened to subaru? in the 2003 it was Peugeot, Ford, Mitsubishi, Citroën, Hyundai, Skoda and Subaru. what happened to the others?
yes, only Citroen and Ford left this year, Subaru and Suzuki ran last year but withdrew due to the economic crisis..
next year though the WRC class will run paralell with the new S2000 class wich will be the World Champinonship class, then we will have manufacturer sutch as Fiat/Abarth, Volkswagen, Peugeot, Opel, Proton and some more...
it will also be much cheaper for the teams and drivers compared to now so that opens up for a really interesting series...
Im a Petter Solberg fan!
Recently i found something wrong with the communucation with Phil and Petter.
In 7:21 Phil says the next move to Petter and he say: Huh? Probably because Phil's accent.

nice . does the driving style of petter seem to be more relaxed and smooth now ? it does to me . the last races i got to watch was 07 .
coldhitz 2 years ago
Might be difference in the car and he might have been able to get hold of some previous set up data perhaps?
