I don't like Mr. Smith, he purchases dates, NOT racetracks. He comes off as if he is doing something good for the sport, but it can be tough. Texas is a fine racetrack but its aim is to be like Charlotte is but out in the Southwest. No one can duplicate Charlotte's racetrack or its significance, Texas is nothing more than a Charlotte clone the only difference is that its designed somewhat different and the hot climate. Still N. Wilkesboro and Texas should coexist.

Yeah, he closed North Wilkesboro to get the Texas race. Hey Bruton, re-open North Wilkesboro! It was one of the best short tracks ever built. Now it's just going to waste.
