I had to go to a fire setter class past week in san diego for bringing a lighter to school. They made me go threw a presentation & in it was this video. Then they pout my mother & I in a room and made me watch a video on a bunch a kids who have been serouisly burned. It is really scary what I had too see. But this video scared the crap out of me.

i had counseled kids like yourself in that exact organization showing the results of playing with fire even though i wasn't even playing with it what had happened.

if your playing with it then all the more risk that is definitely worth the few sparky sparks that got you there.

you only had possession of a lighter but they aren't going to find out the hard way why you brought it. better off informing as most do not know what you do now.

you have to understand that precautionary measures are best for them to head you off in case you were thinking about it or actually did it. they aren't psychic and don't know your intentions except for the fact that statistics are high for youth playing with fire. they did the right thing. maybe you feel it was overplayed but you did send a red flag similar to a kid bringing a gun but not using it. they don't know that. not taking a chance. it's off limits and no reason to have it.
