That looks awesome mate. I use TrackIR myself, and am thinking of getting Triplehead2go. Do I need the exact same monitors for it, or will three different monitors work as well?
No you can still move the pointer with the mouse. Try panning around with the hat switch on the yoke, you'll see the mouse stays on the same place on the screen...
No it doesn't really make it that difficult. You just need to get used to keeping your head steady. I found it a bit difficult at first but now it's easy
very nice trackir and setup, but WAY too loud, not even that loud in real life. You'll bust your eardrums and hear weird sounds for the rest of your life if you continue doing that xd. anywho, nice vid.
a quad core pc could do that no problem..but im pretty sure a duo can too...mines does if i stop all other programs. and i only have 2 Gb RAM, ATI radeon x1300 and 2 x 1.89 GHz core 2 duo
You connect something to the monitor and you connect 3 monitors to the thing you connected to the monitors. Very easy actually... I hope you were asking a question... It had a question mark, but it didn't sound like one.
I wud love vatsim if it was a lil more straightforward what u need to do to get started. It took me 6 hours to get the software setup (ok i blame vista here), and then I had the tower file me a plan, as how am I to know which route is the correct one over which beacon. Some guys on vatsim are rele helpful and i had fun stacked up in traffic once i got going. That triple monitor thing looks ace, i thought the edges of the screen wud be off putting, but watching this its clear they ain't
track IR looks great, moves great, but surely it gets annoying looking through the top of you eyes as you try to pan down to radios or flaps in VC????? thats the sole reason i am yet to buy 1, i get the feeling that i would most likely use the tracker with my hand to pan views
The trackir can be fine tuned to suit anybody. For example 5 degrees headmovement can be 1-90 degrees screen movement. Trackir is not annoying at all. In fact its annoying playing flightsim without it.
roger, perhaps ill get it, although i have all plans and sourced out all components to make a cockpit, now as soon as i move to new home i am going to buy a compnent at a time then build it so i might get this untill then
I've tested very similar setup but for me...only projector is a way to go. I hate the monitor frames deforming the views. Even one big LCD is better than TH2Go+3LCD's but that's only my personal opinion for sure.
I thing you have the same keyboard lol Logitech?

I saw the mouse cursor moving with the movement of ure head. Dosen't that make it difficult to, for example adjust the HDG with the mouse?

I meant the fact that u have to keep ure head still, when adjusting something with the mouse...

Sorry about the volume. Its my video camera. It can hear the faintest of sounds. My speaker volume on the flightsim was actually low.

I still average over 100fps at 3840x1024 res with display settings maximum.

What are your specs? Because those settings would crash any computer I know of.

do they have to be the same type of monitor for it to work?
stejensen 4 years ago
No they do not have to be the same size or brand, but it works the best that way. They do have to support the same resolution though.

I agree I'll never give up my 9 foot screen!! That Track-IR does look good, but I don't think it would work well with my setup.

it's not really that bad, it's just the eye tricks what you see, that's all:P but, the Triple head is recommended...

Hi, I am going to get the triple-head-to-go module, and I want to know does it effect frame rates at all.
darian5 4 years ago
what's triple-head-to-go?
ikkeennigij121 4 years ago
a module that splits 1 monitor into 3 using 3 monitors. The resolutions expands from like 1000 to 3000 approx in width.
