Bay Area anchor famous for Singletary interview gets the boot!!

This interview was O'Donnell's last show on the Mike Singletary show O'Donnell was replaced forthwith by KPIX sports anchor back up Kim Coyle the following week. Singletary said he wanted to move forward but obviously he didn't and told the Niners if O'Donnell does the interviewing he won't do the show anymore.

I recall watching this interview live on TV at home. No disrespect to Singletary, but this interaction is a microcosm of his tenure at San Francisco. It's clear he's passionate about the game, and seems like a guy of great conviction, but he lacks serious composure. This was evident when he frantically ran onto the field -- ripping his headset off -- to call a timeout early in the season. Judging from his behavior and overall record, it's obvious he wasn't a good fit for the organization.

It's crazy to think we've gone from Bill Walsh, Seifert and other innovators of the game to this turd. I mean seriously. The only way you can win playing the way Singletary wants to play the game is if you've got the '85 Bears or 2000 Ravens defense. you want to know why singeltary is a horrible coach? Here's why.

1. When on the sideline he is often shown with the microphone up by his ear. He is not communicating with the other coaches. He is not coaching.

2. Most other coaches make half time adjustments. Singeltary simply continues with the predictable run up the middle.

3. In press conferences singeltary always says "I have to look at the film" instead of commenting on what he just witnessed.

The 49ers are a class team and Org, When Sing cut Nate Davis and talk about he doesn't know the playbook, but to bring in Troy Smith who doesn't know the playbook at all also. I'm from the Bay Area too, and I am protesting what Sing has done to my team. I choose to work every Sunday when the 49ers are on TV. RIght now, got a lot of people that left work (not because of the 49ers now) so I'm needed on Sundays. What Sing did Dennis was an embarrassment.
