Jimmy & Russ were great together! I spent a week at Jimmy's house with my twin 10 Sho-Bud. He changed some knee levers, so that I could do some Chickin' Pickin licks. Just the fact that they hit all the duo notes cleanly, the fact that they play harmony parts, the fact that what they play is creative and tasteful and the fact that they can pull it off at all is mindblowing!

Wish I had appreciated Jimmys playing more while he was still around.

I saw Ricky Skaggs and Bruce Boulton do this live while I watched from about 10 feet away. Then for kicks he kicked up the tempo. He has the fastest fingers I've ever seen on a E9.
