But anyways, I just seen them on Wednesday at the Fillmore in Detroit. And i actually got to meet Andrew, Ben, Will and James. OMGitsmim, Andrew is verrry awesome. I had a chance to talk to them and take pics before the show. It was amazing

If you watched the video, Andrew explains that his girlfriend was frustrated with his lack of gainful employment post graduation.

The period he spoke about was before MGMT received their record contract, so it's probable she may have felt he was being a mooch.
