Then when to Ripley, who also had human and alien dna and sensed that she was just like him and thought that she bore him and not the queen.

@OpenMawProductions Well I have seen the stage sets plans they drew and you can see them in directors cute, there you can see she had her main arms and I think I can see them a bit in some scenes here, but the thing is: The queen is cocooned tot he floor, the drones did that probably to make sure the queen cant leave, and so they cocooned the arms to the floor so she cant use them. I dont think they fell off but easy to think so when they are barely visible.
One of the most memorable and fascinating scenes in the Alien series. I have a sweet spot for Resurrection. It gave us new focus to the series. It showed us how far the goverment was willing to go just like the Weyland-Yutani Corporation to obtain the Aliens. If you don't like Resurrection whats wrong with you seriously. All the films in the series gave us something to appreciate. Ripley being half Alien hybrid is so intresting not to mention totally bad-ass. RESURRECTION ROCKS!!!!!!!

I love the aniel franchise. Until the avp's. New born has to be my favorite alien ever. I grew up on these movies my mom showed them to me when i was a very small child. And we named newborn Jr. And i've always loved that with the facehuggers that whatever they impregnate that alien takes on characteristics and traits from it. The whole point of the xenomorphs is as follows...
1. THEY GROW INSIDE PEOPLE, THEN KILL THEM VIOLENTLY FROM THE INSIDE!
2. THEY HAVE NO EYES, BECAUSE THE EYES ARE THE WINDOW TO THE SOUL, AND THEY ARE SOULLESS KILLING MACHINES!
The "Newborn" does away with the two most psychologically terrifying aspects of the xenomorphs. Equivalent to Freddy Krueger having unburnt skin and no claws, or Jason Voorhees ONLY using a club to kill people.
It is only 'Aliens' in the sense that they are otherworldly!!

From what I understand the Newborn felt no inner connection with its mother- unlike the other aliens. Instead it immediately felt the connection shift towards Ripley. Leaving the Queen a mere intruder in Ripley’s kingdom. A threat to her queen. And like a good warrior the newborn eliminated the threat. The Queen's fate was sealed the very moment it was born.

The "Newborn" does away with the two most psychologically terrifying aspects of the xenomorphs. Equivalent to Freddy Krueger having unburnt skin and no claws, or Jason Voorhees ONLY using a club to kill people.
It is only 'Aliens' in the sense that they are otherworldly!!

@KingSygma Yeah but the Queen was exhausted after giving birth and was pinned to the floor in the hive resin. And I think a Predator would beat the newborn shitless as the Wolf predator could match a Predator/alien hybrid. And predators are stronger than humans so I think a Human/Alien hybrid wouldn't be much trouble.
Also the Newborn used the art of suprise to deliver a killing blow, it can be compared with a fighter being hit in the stomach unexpectadly. winding him. putting him down.

fascinating. I wonder if this mutated alien Queen would be capable of producing another offspring, or if the damage caused by the newborn's birth would have rendered her infertile. I also find it interesting that even immediately after birth, with all the familiar scents of the Queen present, the newborn still doesn't identify the Queen as it's Mother. Then again, with all the genetic tampering going on, it's little wonder the newborn's instincts are off to an extreme.

From what I understand the Newborn felt no inner connection with its mother- unlike the other aliens. Instead it immediately felt the connection shift towards Ripley. Leaving the Queen a mere intruder in Ripley’s kingdom. A threat to her queen. And like a good warrior the newborn eliminated the threat. The Queen's fate was sealed the very moment it was born.

Man, I remember seeing the very beginning of Aliens when I was a kid, and the scene where she dreams that a chest burster is about to rip it's way out of her nearly scarred me for life, and you don't even see the damn thing come out!

So this new type of alien is like the old ones, but with a human way of reproducing (so a lot less scary) and with a goofy face, no cool mouth tongue, a pot belly and saggy man boobs (again, a lot less scary).
What was the next stage? Painting it pink with blue spots?
