Although I disagree with Ron Paul when it comes to economics and the social responsibilities of government, I respect him and his beliefs as he presents them in a mature and coherent way. If the US was to have any republican in office, it would be him.

@test123ok Even if they got a nuclear weapon, it would be relatively weak compared to what more advanced weapons are. They would not have any method of transporting it long distances, and no guidance system.
Iran has threatened Israel... sounds like Israel's problem. Israel is a powerful country with a well-trained, admired military; they are fully capable of taking care of themselves. If anyone needs to attack Iran, it's Israel, NOT the US. We can give moral support to them.

However, Iran is following the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty they signed. Guess who hasn't signed this treaty? The US, Israel, Pakistan, India ...

They had little interest in attacking us. We do not border them and we do not need to have any direct contact with them.
