Chewie died because the Yuzhan Vong used a dovin basal to crash the planet Serndipals moon in Serndipal. Anakin was piloting the Falcon and didnt have enough time to grab chewie because he was carrying alot of refugees. Chewie died howling with defiance at the moon.

there are not enough characters in this box to explain to you in how many ways episodes I-III are a disapointment for the people that liked the star wars universe that was created trough episodes 4-6.

So where is my proof? Look at jar jar bings, the flat yoda character, the babyboy anakin and all the other toys, videogames and collectibles that were advertised in episodes I-III. George did not have to do it but he knowingly sold star wars and the fans out.

George Lucas deserves it for what he did to star wars with episodes I - III.

He viciously murdered the story for base motives, money.

And for the Holocron. the first thing that springs to mind ist holocaust so please change the name.

hah - good old George Lucas must have missed this one, his films contradict the older books and comics.

The Clone wars movie that just came out contradicts as well - Hutt's dont have sex and reproduce, they change their sex (so the male becomes a female) for a while, produce a huttling, and after a while go back to being a male. The movie portrays Jabba being the "father" of the young huttling, whereas a huttling that young should have had a "mother", so Mrs Jabba the Hutt :)

What character is the most advanced in the Star Wars universe or the most powerful? Are any characters god or demigod like or very close to being as powerful as "THE FORCE"? It seems like when a Jedi dies they become very advanced and powerful characters but I've never seen much from any of the characters when they go into a spirit phase.

That period between 'Jedi' and the Yuhzan-Vong was just a miasma clusterfuck in terms of continuity. These guys did a good job of straightening that out. BUT! I hate the fact that Lucas has given sanctioned authors and comics the go-ahead to move so far in to the future. When he had a crystallized idea of where he was going, he should have put the clamp on that shit. The only mystery that remains, is the succession of Bane's Order. Fortunately, DK has that shit wrapped up! He Rules.

During the New Jedi Order, Chewbacca died while saving Anakin Solo, the son of Han Solo and Princess Leia. I think he got smashed when a moon collided with a planet.

Han then blamed Anakin for Chewie's death.

i'm a big star wars fan butt the new star wars characters and stprylines have driven me back. they do not fit with normall star wars due to the fact that if the soldiers were still alive ,or lived, we would probably have heard of them in at least one or two of the movies. also these plots do not have a main storyline, like the empire fighting the rebels or the clones and C.I.S and so forth. In the last episode "The Return Of The Jedi" the death star had been put to and end and so had the empire.
