Someone who doesn't know how to set the 'tolerance' or 'severity' depending which auto-tune unit or plug-in you're using. Everyone one uses it. The engineer usually knows the word 'subtle'. This engineer had probably never used one before and got too carried away with their new toy!! :)

You have certainly blown this way out of proportion. Yes, he was using autotune, but saying they got carried away with the "new toy" is a little much seeing as how there are only about 3 or 4 really obvious pitch jumps while he's singing. Who gives a fuck? AutoTune is now being used as an instrument itself basically so just get used to it..people had to get used to guitars when all anyone wanted to hear was the big band playing their double basses, cellos and pianos...so just suck it up.

That's Antares Auto-Tune in full effect. People use it to correct of pitch singing mostly in recording studios. The setting was too fast and strict. Should not have been used at all. Billy could have sang that in his sleep.

It's not meant for this kind retarded use. he obviously didn't know how to use it, or accidently turned it up.
